We had to do that in the Halls of Valor to prove ourselves before, so it isn't like this is a new thing to come in and fight and confront him.

Everytime we were there we had to prove ourselves.

Hymdall fight again, confronting Odyn sounds like we have to deal with some buisness. Because of one piece in df and people just think odyn is a dick appearntly went its way in the forums, without much info or context.

Just hold your horses untill we see it would be my advice.

The developers have constantly reiterated its consensual. That or you're talking about the simple reanimation of a corpse, not the resurrection of a person & turning their body undead. Take it up with the devs. Only the Jailer can stop someone from unaliving themselves.

So yeah, the tree will likely stay in the Dragon Isles since you access the zone through the portal. And the zone is gorgeous but if you stay from area even a bit you get in the green mist (which is not designated in any way whatsoever and then send back to the start in a few seconds.

Hows the tone and atmosphere of the dream zone so far?

I feel like that will be a big determining factor in the success of the patch, interested to see how you all feel about it so far.

Just briefly went inside, and definitely felt like Val'sharah. Not in a bad way at all, but nothing more to it than you could get from going to the Broken Isles and looking at the zone.

The entrance to it is definitely quite something the first time, but hard to say how much it will do for those that want more mysticism. Looking back at the Dragon Isles and seeing it completely overrun by a forest is mildly impressive.

Though then again, I didnt look at much more than the entrance over to Amirdrassil, so could be more interesting areas further in.

Agree with this and believe its because of the tree models and everything is just a bit too dark toned.

Usually in past patched they datamine stuff that's been updated but it's like 1-2 things. This time there's tons. And it's all old stuff too.

the sneaky updates are the best part of this patch. I think we're going to get a world revamp next expansion or the one after.

Ion said they want avoid Cataclysm issue and preserve pre-revamp zones. He clearly meant full revamp, not graphical update.
