What is the hypothetical difference here? Like what makes a new continent with racial areas "EK Kalimdor 3.0" vs just being a new continent with racial areas? That the Horde and Alliance are attempting to settle the continent?
Is green plaguelands or Gilneas but repopulated with NPCs and the destroyed houses fixed really more interesting than a whole new Blood Elf town on some different continent with its own novel stories and problems? I don't even like Highmountain, but I can tell you that the HM questline, learning about the different tribes and seeing their villages and exploring the mountains and caves was a lot more interesting than whatever the Bloodhoof are going to be doing in a nicer looking version of Mulgore.
Using more of Orgrimmar's vertical space for more stuff. Carve out the side of Valley of Honour and continue that to the ocean for a dock and some sort of other district.
Likewise, Stormwind can use some of its vertical space. Give us a new Park district now that the NElf refugees are a thing. We miss that moonwell and eternally empty tavern, the RPers have been suffering ever since Cata
Pity the person (me) who doesn't read for a day and comes back to like 20 pages. And I can only imagine how its gonna ramp up when we get closer too.
Anyway, Exodar's kinda been cannibalized a lot for the Vindicaar right? Could still be repaired though.
I'd like a full on embassy district for Stormwind, would be neat.
Currently, yes, it’s been stated to be beyond repair. However with all this time passed and new Naaru around, who originally designed those types of ships, I believe it’s very possible it could fly again. But that would ruin a lot of story, because if they could use it again, it could take them anywhere in the universe in the blink of an eye.
But I don’t think Justicar is a ship. Xenedar and Genedar fled from Argus. Xenedar stayed under Army of the Light control, Genedar crashed. Draenei then took the Exodar from Tempest Keep to take it to Azeroth.

Reaching back a page or so regarding races: what do yall think of there being any chance that the next race to be added does the Pandaren neutrality thing again? For the record I don't particularly think we need any new races at the moment, but I didn't see this possibility brought up, so...
Forget the damaged/broken ships. This is what the Draenei needs and deserves:
I think it's just that Ogres are generally understood to be one of the far and away most likely additions and they're so dedicatedly Horde. There's also the Jinyu rumblings, which are very Alliance.
Often Ethereal are brought up as a neutral option. Naga sometimes as well.

X is next to C.
Going off Genedar and Exodar, I was always hoping before 7.3 that we'd invade the Legion with a ship called the Reveladar, Revedar, etc. Kind of a shame they moved off the Biblical naming scheme into the fairly meaningless "Xenedar" and "Vindicaar". Hope they go back to it if we see a new Army of the Light fleet.

Would be nice to see. The Burning Crusade is over. I think the draenei ought to start constructing a proper civilization on Azeroth now.

"We will soon be in a world in which a man may be howled down for saying that two and two make four."
— G.K. Chesterton
You hate dracthyr because you hate scalies, I hate dracthyr because I'm a scalie and know naga are better. We are not the same.
Vindicaar is from the latin root vindicta ("vengeance", as in vindictive), like Vindicators. The Vindicaar is the ship they built after being attacked on Azeroth, finally deciding to stop running, take a stand and strike back against the Legion.
Xenedar is from the greek root xenos ("stranger", "alien", as in xenophobia), because it's a Light ship (per A Thousand Years of War) designed for long voyages through the Twisting Nether, an alien realm. This was changed from its original intended name Benedar, an straight use of bene ("good", as in beneficial) because it is the ship of the Army of Light, the supposedly holy and benevolent force.
See, Genesis and Exodus are just nouns (that are in common use still in Greek). The vast majority of the bible book names are apostles and prophets. Very few of those that are words lend themselves to this naming sceme. Though I guess we could go with Numedar. But best skip trying to use Leviticus.
I wonder what will be the price for virtual ticket this year and also what will it actually include besides in game goodies, since show will be free to watch.
Last time it was 49.99$, now it might be 60$ but still, without the streams maybe they won't higher the price.
The should repurpose the Exodar into a temple and build the city around it.
Formerly known as Arafal
The Exodar was completely operational and ready to leave as per the Prophet's Lesson. The death of O'ros should make it impossible to turn the thing on though. The issue is that the introduction of the Vindicaar makes it sound like they never repaired the Exodar and instead dedicated all their efforts to building the lesser craft.
Ideally I'd want a proper city in Azuremyst centered on a repaired Exodar that would be floating (over the sea? with a port at a lower level of the city) only it would be open-air in some manner while a new version of Auchindoun would be in Bloodmyst housing O'ros, then the Draenei would have at least one major town in Night Song, Ashenvale. We'd also need a place for the new Council of Exarchs to meet. Romuul is clearly Chief Artificer but then we need a Rangari, Vindicator, Auchenai and someone to stand for the people of the new capital or perhaps that place is replaced with a Broken representative like Nobundo or alternatively if they join, Akama or Hatuun. I'd assume Boros would be the High Vindicator but I don't think there are good fits for a Rangari Prime (maybe Anaeli or Arepheon will be used for this?) or Speaker for the Dead. They could make Xyrella canon and have her lead the Auchenai.
That said in a proper revamp I'd hope that the northern coast of Kalimdor is at least slightly utilized; right now it is just a WALL of cliffs which is so weird and unnatural. You could add levels to that place and then place things on them (leading to the massive caverns beneath Hyjal which could be a zone by themselves); e.g.
the ruins of a Dark Troll city featuring an old temple to Elune with maybe writings about which Ancients they favored and how they called them as Loa
the caverns of some Spider Ancient (the trolls have a spider Loa but imo the Night Elves should have had one as well; in early WoW they had Elune favour a spider for whatever reason after all and a silver spider whose webs "collect" the moonlight would be very thematic. Plus they could reuse the Faldorei there
and ofc why not another draenei town hanging on a cliff, they build in multiple elevations all over Draenor
