If it's a revamp, or something similar, I think one last batch of fanservice races would check out. The Broken stuff was REALLY telling.

Mogu as the fourth I imagine. Or Centaur. I feel like that’s been seeded with Baine’s storyline in Dragonflight. It helps that the two races are so similar in DF that you could have replaced the Maruukai with Tauren and nothing would have felt different.

I can think of several for a world revamp but just the Ankoan for anything beneath Azeroth’s landmass.

Underground could be Earthen or Iron Dwarves, if it's old races only.

I think Centaur (or at least the Maruukai) are the only one that's a definite no as the models are comparatively low-poly, unless they for some reason want to do the models all over again. Tuskarr and Gnolls look much tidier.

Broken are very unsubtly hinted at in the Man'ari questline, and Mok'nathal are still a good option for Horde.

Beyond that we obviously have Ankoan, Ogres, Mogu, etc.

If they aren't some rare event in the Dream (I haven't seen them on the PTR) then I think most likely answer is that they are teasing/leading to the next expansion, yeah.

The fact that they are tied to some kind of cosmetic makes me think that they will be an additional quest activity somewhere like the Furbolg grind.

It does raise the question how the Maruukai Centaur will react to the ones in the Barrens and Desolace.

I always imagined in a world revamp expansion that the Maruukai would come over and attempt to meet with them but it wouldn’t go down well. I also think that the old Mongrel Horde concept from the original post MoP plans should be utilised in a revamp expansion so the Centaur from The Barrens and Desolace would definitely feature in that.

The fact that Decatriarch Wratheye isn't around in the Dream is really telling that this may happen, to some extent.

Or she may have something to do with Vakthros, if it's used in 10.2.5. I forgot they are in the same zone.

Maybe iridikron puts the essence of galakrond into Tyr? I tried to find the Canon hand that Tyr lost maybe it becomes this weird crab claw

We need expanded class animation customization like locks and druids have via the barber.

Some ideas...

Warrior: lightning, frost, arcane charge. Building off of the firey charge they have now.

Paladin: bladed judgement, all hammer spell animations are now swords, different wings for AW, charger spells, light colors

Mage: Blue fire, bloody arcane, frost fire. Even more poly critters,

Monk: lightning fists, firey fists, arcane fists, for FoF,

Oxe, crane, and tiger versions of FSK,

Tiger, crane, oxe colored mista spells.

Priest: light colors, void to light and light to void swap some spells.

Rogue: arcane, firey, frosty, electric vanish

Dk: lich, banshee summons for gargoyle

Return of icy grip

Warlock: undead versions of demons for Necro fans

Hunter: elemental shots

Shaman: lightning colors, more elemental models

Evoker: nightmare versions of all green spells, twilight for red, shadowflame for black,

DH: fel rush colores to match tattoo colors.

That's just some I could think up quickly for each class, imagine what blizzard can come up with

Maybe also include old school spell animations for most spells. Like old school pally bubble or lock shadow bolt.

Voidstorm looking more viable by the day which would be interesting if nothing else.

I’m sort of convinced by the Voidstorm leak. It has pretty much everything that fits based off what’s been datamined and leaked, where the story is heading and what seems to be relevant.

It features boats of which we’ve seen datamined, it references an underwater plus Undermine which Towellie has hinted at as well as the terrarium. This was posted as a leak way before we got those hints too.

Also references Tel’Abim and Nightsquall which have both been seeded in Dragonflight, K’aresh; we have the eco domes datamined, plus Azshara as the main villain who has been referenced as working behind the scenes with the void in DF, plus whatever Iridikron’s doing.

As well as the main campaign featuring Thrall as the main character.

I just think it’s important to note that it references an underwater zone AND an underground zone, and was posted before we got the Towellie hints regarding content being underground and beneath water.

Of course it likely means nothing and is the same as any other leak, but it’s the one that makes the most sense to me and it sounds like an awesome expansion too.

If Voidstorm is the trademark exdev talked about we will have our next expac and speculation will be done unless Blizz came up with a 1000 iq red herring involving past Leakers, wow streamers, putting specific assets in the 10.2 data and fake trademarks which would be insane

I don't think blizzard wants to torpedo all the good will they've built up from Dragonflight by going back visually or thematically to the expansion that almost killed the game.

Agreed. Sidelining all of their buildup since Legion Just to bring in Yrel of all people would be terribly disappointing.

I wouldnt expect that leak to be any different honestly. It's so broad in theme that nothing but a complete swerve would derail it.

What red herring? Voidstorm is just a bunch of ideas that have been talked about for months/years pasted together.

all the recent stuff we have gotten from scale exdev toweliee and datamining happened august 31st or later, the void storm post was August 27th also until within the past few days the most popular expansion concepts were one-averloren and the other side of Azeroth two- eastern kingdoms and kalimdor revamp and thirdly yrel light invasion none of that was mentioned in the leak
