They have to announce 11.0 at Blizzcon. Even the pandemic did not interrupt the 2-year cycle. This would be an embarrassment to Blizzard on many levels.

Ofc they will. And I think it will be epic. Just not "Undermine" only. They need an awesome theme. And they need to get back to continuous story lines like for example the alliance war campaign. Or Legion nightborne story

The fact that they designed a new mount for the rock elemental model is kind of telling. Yes, it's Blizzard themed, but we will probably get more mounts that are big rock elementals in the future.

I would like them to talk about Warden lore more. What are the actual principals of their order? What about those Sun Wardens? There were blood elves in the Wardens during TBC? So it wouldn't be so unusual to have other elves be Wardens, surely?

Yeah, but it was a zone that was being referenced since vanilla so it got a pass.

My thing is will we finally accept the Chinese prediction as being correct or doubt him until 13.0 because the elemental seems to hint towards it being elemental

It can be both considering the Naga are connected to the void
Their queen went beyond the umbral veil and basked in the glory of someone
Then the line "she shall rule the sky land and sea"
What elemental lords are left?? Oh right those 3

So for wow it says " play upcoming content " with the classic and 10.2 patch logo. HOWEVER I do not think this means you get to play the patch at blizzcon because that would be CRAZY for blizzard to do. I can play the patch at home on the PTR haha. Has there ever been a blizzcon where you didnt get to play the upcoming xpack during an announcement?

holycrap this feels kinda lazy on blizz part. They didnt even change the armor.

I mean, yeah. But almost every BlizzCon Virtual Ticket has contained rewards relevant to the expansion, IIRC. From the Illidan murloc, to Horde and Alliance cloaks and airships, etc. An ice elemental could easily be a tease for the theme of the expansion, especially since Thrall is back and Vyranoth is becoming an important character.

I just can't imagine "the elementals" carrying a whole xpac thematically especially aftere DF and all those elements people

It must be that Thrall vs Evil light thing
I can totally imagine the opening like some big explosion, someone stepping out of some vessel... camera bottom to top, evil and pissed yrel landing in lordaeron cleansing forsaken
Then in the xpac she connects to scarlet crusade and burns down all undead areas
green jesus, with connection to both A and H, steps in and we help him win against evil light
Turalyon might be always on the edge and the story could portrait this inner fight
Then they can also get the void back with Alleria etc
And eventually revamp EK
