Mounts are one of their major type of ingame reward and monetization items, so of course they're going to want to upgrade them to dragon riding.

You don't know that. They don't even know if dragoniding will continue beyond the expansion yet. They are still taking feedback.

Same model as the new Spirit Beast, and I think the animation is just as bad from what I’ve been hearing.

On a side note, I like both of the mounts ppl are debating about, but the Fox one slightly edges out KSM because it’s the basically the wolf hawk mount as a fox, which is one of my favorite mounts on my Hunter.

Additionally, Flash Frozen Meat can only be looted by characters that have completed the quest True Survivors (Snowhide Camp storyline) from the achievement Sojourner of Azure Span.

Not really - I'm level 67. Still going through the Ohn'Aran Plains campaign. Flew over to the Azure Span and was able to farm all the necessary items without having done any quests at all in the Azure Span.

Nothing can be fixed. Run speed is that same for every mount and short legs just looks bad when running that fast.

The real fix would be to stop doing mount of creatures that wouldn't be able to run fast.

Yeah, that's much improved. My biggest issue was how it seemed to be doing inappropriate things to the ground with each stride, now it looks at least somewhat natural. (The sprint animation's still a bit wonky but I'll reserve judgment until after I start seeing it in game.)

They really should make every new flying mount Dragon riding compatible..

It has all the animations necessary tied to it so I'd imagine they are saving this update for future "content"
