Chris Metzen Rejoins Blizzard

Citizens of Azeroth,

It is with great joy that I announce Chris Metzen has joined the Warcraft Leadership Team as Creative Advisor. Chris’s focus initially will be on World of Warcraft, then his work will expand to other projects across this growing franchise.

Chris was one of the original team members working on the Warcraft universe back when it began in 1994, and we are so happy to be reuniting him with the world he helped create.

I'm not that overhyped with Metzen returning but I remain grateful for his work on his old games. I hope he can help to get WoW back on track. I would have loved to see him work on another project though, WoW is kinda dried out for him to work on.

Also please don't return Thrall again...

The main benefit of this is that people who haven't been put through SC2 or Diablo 3's plot will be less able to go on and on about how Metzen not being there as a guiding light is the reason the story blows goats.
