Use to Raid and play [H]ardcore from MoP through Legion, playing hours a night, but those times are gone.

Anyways, Dragonflight, was so excited to get a new expansion after Shadowlands, which I found depressing and lame, and so far DF is an upgrade and feels fun and looks great. But...2 months later after Dragonflights release, I'm getting bored already. My main is iLvl 391, and I have another at i360+, and several alts in the level 60+ level range. But right now, I just feel stuck in a rut in the game, not interested in getting my main any higher gear at this point, I'm happy enough doing M+10, but not higher, and I stopped Raiding long ago.

My alts, I was progressing getting most of them to level 65 or so, but now it feels like a grind to push them to all to 70.

I know there's the patch today, which will help give something new to do, which is great for WoW, they need mini patches like this often. Because without today's patch I prob would unsub for a bit.

I would say the last expansion I was truly addicted to and LOVED was Legion, that one had so much to do outside of just Raids, the Class Halls, the artifact weapon appearances, the Class mounts, I felt like I always had something to do in Legion.

Thing is, I do like Dragonflight, it's beautiful to look at, and I am enjoying it, but I feel like I hit a wall of boredom quicker than usual in a new expansion.
It's a great time to get into PvP actually.

Yeah, I already unsubbed. World content feels shallow and unrewarding, and the vibe of the expansion as a whole feels quite bland. Got my first character to about 360 ilvl in the world, levelled a second character, played that for a bit and just completely lost the urge to log in. It's the earliest I've ever unsubbed from an expansion. I'll wait and see if they make any changes or additions to the game that tempt me to play again. In the meantime Hogwarts Legacy will be out in a couple of weeks, and I'm currently doing a playthrough of Witcher 3, so I've got plenty to keep me occupied when it comes to games.

Stop playing completely, or take a break? If a game is boring, so what? The normal thing to do is to find other things to spend your time on.

Yeah I'm shocked I'm already not hooked and not addicted to this expansion anymore. Took only two months for me to start to fade and not care to log in. Fastest ever for me in WoW to get bored this quick.

Few ways to play the game and have content

    Raider
    Do dungeons
    Enjoy Pvp
    Level various classes
    Achievement hunter and/or collector

If neither category is of interest, there ultimately wont be much to do after a few weeks and that has been true for every single version of the game.

The casual content in DF is quite weird, isn't it? I'm thinking specifically of the soup 'event', the Dragonlame siege (blink and you'll miss it) and the elemental invasion AOE zergfest. Maybe they're testbeds for new content, but I doubt it.

Thong is I don't hate Dragonhype I do like it, where I hated Shittylands, I think one of the worst expansions not I still played SL a good year plus

So I'm not unsubbing from DF now, I'm still digging it, just kinda bored with lack of stuff to do outside of Raids and M+ only. And PvP LOL no, that's what deathmatch shooter games are for.

It's not like I'm not running dungeons I'll help Guildies in Heroic dungeon runs, and myself run low keys until I hit a wipe fest PUG which seems to start happening around +7.

Yep. Why do you think that is, compared to previous expansions?

Legion was the last expansion I played for it's entire 2 year run, and played literally 6 to 7 nights a week, month after month never getting bored or burned out. I haven't been hooked to WoW like that since.

Never said anything about previous expansions. I can't deal with repetitive content. Do it once or twice and i'm out.

How is it possible you've been able to play WoW at all (I assume you have). Since that's the whole game, has always been.

....10s are nothing though go higher...push to higher difficulties on all content. MMOs have always been about pushing yourself to go farther but if you feel what is essentially normal raid lvls of difficulty is enough for you then you're done until the next content patch

I have like 8 max level toons now and I am sitting here feeling like I am wasting my time. I really do miss the times when i had a ton of friends to play with but everyone moved on. I could try and make new friends but I am not really that social and most of the people I run into in game, I don't really want to socialize with anyways. So unfortunately the time of MMO's and WoW specifically might be coming to an end for me. But hey it is what it is.
You are wasting your time. Not that it should be a problem. That's the entire point. The complaint there is about the illusion breaking.

Also, if you're not going to socialize because you don't want to socialize with most people, you just don't want to socialize. That statement is literally always true.
