While they did announce that public order charges will go down from 20 to 4, they didn´t say that you only recover one charge per day, so you basically get 10 public crafts per week maximum. Also, it´s bugged beyond recognition. The timer in the tooltip of the charges counts up for me, not down. I started out at 4 charges -> did 3 private orders for for my weekly using an alt -> down to 2 charges which is not supposed to happen at all. Then, I was at 2 charges with more available in 6 hours -> 1 craft -> went to 0 charges with more available in -6 hours.

I fail to see how this tweak is supposed to fix anything (even if not counting the bugs). Everyday/massproduced orders that either have no quality rank at all (treatises) or where rank doesn´t matter that much (ultimate power potions) are basically out of the system and you must shout for them. Mundane crafts I´ve seen in blacksmithing before, like, put up cheap mats and a cheap missive and be guaranteed to get that 343 5-star blue gear (because of the low skill requirement) cheaper than from AH. are pointless to place.

Some professions are effectively impossible to level without crafting spark gear.

I think most people just spend an afternoon levelling an alt to level 70 and sending personal orders using the alts sparks.

It is possible that the cap for public orders has been changed by the game developers. It is important to check official sources, such as patch notes or forums, to see if there has been a change to the game's mechanics. If the change was made without proper notification, it is also possible to provide feedback to the developers through the appropriate channels. They may be able to provide more information on the reasoning behind the change and if there are any plans to address the impact it may have on players.

I just had to craft a few profession tools. All materials were purchasable from AH, but the tools themselves were BoP. Meaning the only way to get them was to use crafting orders. In previous expansions they would be BoE and I would be able to buy them from AH. But now I had to check the recipe, buy several types of materials, post an order and wait for someone to craft it for me. There was no actual reason why those items have to be BoP other than forcing people to go through crafting orders

I have enough of EA ruining great franchises and studios, forcing DRM and Origin on their games, releasing incomplete games only to sell day-1 DLCs or spill dozens of DLCs, and then saying it, and microtransactions, is what players want, stopping players from giving EA games poor reviews, as well as deflecting complaints with cheap PR tricks.

I'm not going to buy any game by EA as long as they continue those practices.
