Didn't think the Patriots were even going to try to win when they ran 2 times in a row. I wonder if Sean Payton calling timeouts there was the only reason they even tried on 3rd down.

Only 1 of the 5 (or 4 depending on Lawrence) AFC teams that still have their starting QB and have not fired a HC or coordinator is out of the playoffs right now. Kind of impressive to pull that one off.

Raiders' D having a blast so far. Pierce really got that sorted out.

What the fuck are the Raiders doing? Like in a good way.

Saw them completely fuck up what I can only assume was a designed fake kick and then I check back a few minutes later and they're up 10?

So now the KC punter got more passing yards then Mahomes?

And KC gets saved again with a bad holding call.

Refs desperately keep the Chiefs in the game.

    Merry Christmas everyone.

    It's a genuine miracle.

Makes Denver's loss yesterday even worse. KC just in the Christmas spirit.

Everything went the Raiders way this week

The Raiders still need other results to go their way, but their last two games are home to the Colts and away at Denver.

It's within their ability to win out.

Colts seem to have imploded a bit after looking like they could catch Jax and win the South.

Depends on which Denver shows up. Could be Raiders/Chargers all over again. Except Sean Payton won't be so stupid to wreck the end of the game like Staley did.

    Ravens @ 49ers

What a game this should be #1 AFC vs #1 NFC some are calling a Superbowl preview.

Hopefully Ravens enforcer , Madandbeaky will keep pecking away at the Purdy boy & force him into errors.

    Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December;
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow;—vainly I had sought to borrow

Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the Nightly shore—
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night’s Plutonian shore!”
    Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”

The 5 Chargers fans left in the world must be absolutely furious about this season. This is probably the best chance they'll ever have to win the AFC West with Mahomes around.

Fucks sake... 49ers scoring a safety because the ref tripped Lamar.

The ref causing a safety is a new way for them to impact the game. At least they are upping their game from just having questionable calls I guess.

He wears #49 and he gave points to the 49ers... COINCIDENCE!?!?

Lamar is warmed up. His 2nd half against the Jags was amazing.

Hoping he will replicate it against the Niners

Kittle is main danger against Ravens as well as CMC

  16. #2156
Purdy saw Nick Mullens play and decided to try 1 upping him. Missing out on about 250 yards and a couple TDs though.

  17. #2157
    AFC North owns the 49ers.

Darnold did a good job finishing off what Purdy started with a pick.

So in other words, every position on offense except tight end and tackle, and every position on defense except linebacker and safety. Sounds about right.
Yes, it is going to take more than 2 years to fix the damage Gettleman did to that roster.

The Panthers fired him in 2017 and they're still a mess, of course they replaced him with Marty Hurney, another hilariously incompetent GM
