The Chiefs are really failing their way into the playoffs this year.
Yeah okay Ravens are legit and Lamar is the MVP.
Now that I have said this they will lay an egg next week.

They locked up the 1-seed, so they might just play their backups anyway.

Might be the best shot the Ravens have at getting a super bowl ring. Chiefs are having a down year, although their defense is balling out. They just stomped Miami's ass. That leaves like the Bills and Browns to get through.
Next week for the division and the #2 seed. But also next week we could be eliminated from the playoffs. Swing from #2 to #8 seed in one game. Absolute nightmare scenario.
Bills make playoffs if:
Bills win @ Miami (#2 seed)
or
Steelers lose @ Ravens, who will probably be playing their backups. (#6 or 7 seed)
or
Jacksonville lose @ Tennessee, the only AFC South team with nothing left to play for (#6 or 7 seed), and Will Levis was hurt this week.
If none of these things happen, the Bills are eliminated. Which is, to me, hilarious. Had we won any of multiple winnable games (Jets wk 1, 1st Pats game, Broncos game, Eagles game) we'd be in, if we won all of them we'd be easily the #1 seed.
Jayden Reed might be the best of the Packers 3 WRs and that's saying a lot.
They also need a new kicker next year.

So GB-Chi is absolutely the flex next week right? Win and in for GB and it cannot be messed up by other games earlier in the day.
lol guess not I blame the Bears

Well there's gonna be some fines going out for the end of this game it seems.

Once again, the Seahawks rely on the Packers to lose in week 18. Hopefully they win this time.

Also hopefully the Rams lose. Unlikely since I imagine SF will rest their starters, but if the Rams lose and GB wins then the Packers get the 6th seed and dodge certain death by having to go to Dallas.
Speaking of Dallas, I recall I said after the Eagles-49ers game that the Cowboys have a real shot at the NFC East and folks said no chance because the Eagle's remaining schedule was a cupcake. Losses to the two NFC West Birds later, the Cowboys look destined for the NFC East crown.

None of the big news outlets are giving it any attention yet, but apparently the NFL is upset that Panthers owner David Tepper has yet to apologize for the events at Jaguars stadium this weekend (he threw a drink at some people below his box).
Given how he;s ran that team, I hope they suspend him for a couple of games, cause he sounds like a complete in appropriate owner who needs to be shown he;s a steward of a brand, not a dictator of a small nation. No more situations like with Snyder.
Knowing the name of the owner of a franchise is usually not a good thing. If they have their name out there beyond thier own market, it usually means they got attention for all the wrong reasons.
Same with the GM. If you know the name of a GM not of your team, it was likely for the wrong reasons (or they won a Super Bowl recently).

For fun I went through all the teams, and tallied which teams I knew the Owner's name of and which ones I didn't and the same for the GM.
Result:
I don't know the owner's name of: Broncos, Commies, Vikings, Seahawks and Niners. (Seahawks used to be Paul Allen, but I'm not sure who it is right now. Broncos I just know it's one of those Walmart people, but their name escapes me.)
I DO know the name of the GM of: Colts, Texans, Bills, Patriots, Eagles, Cowboys, Packers, Panthers, Bucs, Seahawks, Niners, Rams.
But that's from someone who follows NFL stuff more than casually. I bet the average viewer of the NFL knows far less.
