Btw, gutted for the Saints. Game totally in hand until Carr injury.

Indeed but it was a team effort to let the Packers back into the game and then a missed field goal that could have sealed it.

Yeah. Packers D once again no showed on a critical drive. Only saved by a rookie kicker.

Speaking of coaches who should have been fired last year, DC Joe Barry.

Ah, I don't miss that old feeling.

Side note, the Dolphins could have set a new record post merger for points scored had they kicked a field goal instead of kneeling out the game.

It would have tied the pre-merger record too.

Was reported that Carr may have avoided a season ending injury though he could still miss some time.

Thought the Bears had possibly two wins on the schedule (Carolina and Arizona), but now I reckon the Bears aren't going to win any games. They look so bad on both sides.

Also only needed 9yds to set a most yardage record as well.

Mike McDaniel grew up a Broncos fan, so that's probably the only reason he didn't break the yardage and points records. They easily could have.

On the plus side, the Bears are getting beat very badly too and those 2 dumpster fires play each other next week. Could be the fight for the #1 pick.

The blatant lack of calls of in your face penalties against the cardinals is fucking criminal

  10. #1050
Who had the Cardinals beating Dallas? What a game to lose.

Cowboys gonna Cowboys but those refs were fucking paid.

Damn the September Super Bowl run for Cowboys already over. All hail the new September Super Bowl front runner Miami.

Yeah if you say so. Both teams got called for a ton of them.

It looks like going into that play, the Chargers' win probability was 75% and it dropped to 51% when they didn't convert. But if they had converted, it would have been 100%. So if you assume 50% odds of making it (which is low for 4th and 1) it's pretty close to break even, barely in favor of going for it.

People hate it though because we just don't like gambling to decide a game.
Made sense to trust offence (given their defence) and a first down wins the game so should not be an issue making that call.

Chicago dude here. Wow Da Bears just totally suck, ugh. Thought they'd be somewhat improved after last season, with the trades and draft, but they look worse. Fuuuucck.

Vegas has them at 7.8 wins before the season started, I don't see that happening.

Yeah obviously not saying everyone else’s window has closed and they should pack it in, just saying that right now those teams are in the groove.

Not sure who I’d put right below them, I guess just chiefs.

I thought fields was judged waaaay to harshly but it seems he actually is what people thought Lamar was.

Another freezing cold take I guess - Cardinals easily beat the Cowboys... Luckily the Bears still exist to be my survivor pick.

Imagine having to talk to the media after making your team kick that FG.

  20. #1060
It actually makes sense when you consider that they would still need a FG if they missed the 2pt conversion.

It was dumb interceptions that cost them. They play the Bears week 7 so that's a t least one more win for them.
