    PvP Public Events

Similar to Iskaara community feast, time rifts, dreamseeds, and Zaralak cavern events but for pvp in Warmode or possibly PvP exclusive areas in either war or not Warmode

    Some examples of possible events:

-Stealing a caravan to your base: Your faction fight over to capture a single caravan and bring it to your faction's base.
-King of the hill: Your faction trying to last the longest in a specific point within a span of time (like 10 minutes,)
-Smash and grab: go to an ancient place filled with treasure and get as much treasure as you can. With the other team trying to get treasures as well.
-Battlefield: Deathmatch. Trying to kill more than the other team in a specific location.
-Gaining a blessing: Theres a farm for both factions and both factions have to fight for a blessing from an artifact to grow the crops. Winning faction can loot food too.

Rewards are honor/gold and renown to a new PvP faction with obtainable rewards.

Your faction's performance will decide how much gold/honor/reputation you get. Being outnumbered might adjust your rewards to compensate.

PVP event areas will have no flying within its vicinity.

Biggest problem with open world PvP is flying. A person can load in from out of nowhere and then begin immediately attacking, which removes strategy such as spotting an enemy and then setting up a defensible position. It also means that there is little reward for killing an enemy if they're just going to respawn and be back within 10-20 seconds. The FFA bloody token zerg fests that go on forever aren't fun. For these open world PvP events to really be fun, flying needs to be disabled in at least a large area around where it is taking place in the war mode phase, if not the entire zone, so as to add that strategy back in and to add stakes/rewards for dying/killing enemy players.

Last time they did something similar was Battle for Naz'jatar, which was kind of mess. It would basicaly boil down to shard-hopping across various groups through group finder tool.

The best PvP event was probably Wintergrasp. No wonder they turned it into an epic BG.

Disable flying while the event is active.
    Problem instantly solved
