They didnt make old content more simple they added a new level of bosses that require 3 times more materials and more challenging fights for the average player, pets were in D3 they were going to be added just like wings at some point, all the best features of D3 will eventually come to D4, noone here is going to accept your nonsense.

Your main argument was having boss materials be all one type was it not, that is never going to happen, the other materials will also have their own specific drop areas so you will always have to do certain content to get those rewards, moaning about the game so much you should just not play it again.

One of those bosses no longer requires 4 different items to summon. They made it more simple. Voila!

Put that pet away, and loot all that gold on your own. I wouldn't want anyone to think you're lazy.

I have basically stopped playing until I see how next expansion is... try and keep up. Heck, hopefully they add a proper D3 wardrobe, so people can actually swap builds. Or, does that make people too lazy? Do you prefer to have to spend all that time swapping boards for 225 points?

I don't even need to loot gold, can get more gold trading than you can earn in the game, as i have told you many times changing a boss to actually 2 different materials does not make it more simple since nothing about difficulty of the boss or getting the materials has changed, what's actually changed is you need far more materials than ever before so its taking longer to get the materials than ever before.

Im telling you you are better off not playing the game ever again when you moan about the game this much, the game is not going to give you what you want, so you are just going to have to keep being salty on the forums.

Could we move on from from the same two people arguing with each other for several pages? Take it to DMs if you want to argue semantics.
"May the way of the Hero lead to the Triforce"

"May the Goddess smile upon you."

"Hero", is what they've all been saying. This world, it isn't worth the saving."

It literally means it's more simple...

the funny thing is, I really didn't have that many complaints, I think the game is vastly improved from the beginning. You're just mad, and it's adorable. My main complain was grinding for specific items that was boring to me, and lag issues. The other is that the build process is still slow.

    The pace has improved.
    The pet looter is improved.
    Loot is improved.
    Infernal Hordes are great.
    Mob density has improved.

I'm not the salty one, because I find it hilarious at how upset you got at reasonable criticism. I have stated the game is far better than it was at launch, and in Season 1. I'm simply saying they still should push more QoL improvements, and continue doing it. Blizzard agrees with me.

Edit: In deference to the other posters, feel free to message me in a DM. I won't read it or respond, otherwise.

The salty one is the one who is moaning on the forums about the game. You don't waste time moaning about a game if you are not salty about it.

Facts are the game has not become more simple in the slightest, its evolves every season, you don't have a clue what simple actually means.

If you have played any ARPG you would already know all of them start off slow and gradually makes things a little faster, and make improvements on the game.

Your opinions don't matter to blizz, Features from D3 coming to D4 are inevitable, nothing to do with what you want or not so no blizz does not agree with you, they always do what they were going to do with the game anyway.

Wanting to dumb down loot systems is not a reasonable, its nonsensical, just makes the game boring and breaks the lore on having separate materials in the first place, you couldn't upset me if you tried, im here just laughing at your nonsense.

I like that uniques that are build defining, are largely able to be focus farmed, or drop more often.

There's still some things I just don't like:

    - The lag is out of hand. Porting to town means a wait. Leaving towns means rubberbanding while riding to your next destination.
    - Farming the mats to kill each boss is convoluted, and a hassle. "Do this event to get these mats to kill this boss. Also, do this other event to get some different mats, so you can kill a different boss. Then, from those mats, you can use them to kill another boss. If you also use a 5th mat, you can make the boss harder. Either simplify it over time, or just have the mats drop from more things. Farming the Maiden in Helltides for hours on end is not what people actually want to be doing.
    - The multiple "jouneys" is a bit annoying to try and keep up with.
Good points here and I mostly agree..

Only thing thats completely off for D4 imo, is the tempering.. I got a 3/3 enhanced bow with all the right stats on it.. And tempering made that item useless, just because Smoke Grenade wanted to be rolled 8 times...

Farming the item you want, then hoping it has the right stats, then hoping the stats are high/enhanced, then hoping for tempering, then hoping for masterworking is just 1 hoop too many in the casino grind that is D4... Very very not fun imo

Getting better and better imo, had a blast so far this season and blasted tormented bosses. Wouldnt say the game is bad - Perhaps these games are not for you.

    Reinstalled the game last night

Weird, the game feels way better as a mindless dungeon crawler/helltide spam than I ever felt playing through the story
This world don't give us nothing. It be our lot to suffer... and our duty to fight back.

Wow, so the game is actually like.....really good right now (imo obv). I just started playing the new season today after completing the original campaign on release. It's like an entirely different experience. The new method of permanently learning legendary affixes/power level of them through salvaging is brilliant. I also generally like the gearing progression. I like being able to mix up activities to balance out maintaining mats/currency and being able to more easily handcraft decent pieces. I'm...having fun? :O
