Can anyone confirm if they've seen this drop? Word on the street is that it's a personal drop (at least in Normal and Heroic), but I haven't seen anything myself. It's all been "friend of a friend" hearsay.

At the end of the Liquid's kill vod, you can see the legendary gem in the loot list addon, correct me if I am wrong, but it wouldn't appear there if it were personal? I have no idea.

I've heard from not-totally-reliable sources that it drops on personal loot on the lower more "casual" difficulties, much like the drake reskin.

Not Really....

Tarecgosa back in the day required you to kill bosses on heroic to get the embers and had a higher drop chance of the cinders than normal.

in Dragonsoul heroic dropped more clusters than Normal.

in MOP the Legendary Neck/Gem/Cloak, were all heavily gated by killing bosses on Normal or UP, across the entire expansion, and had parts of the quest made obsolete during the expansions timeframe, so you had to keep up or miss out on the big reveal.

in Shadowlands, although the bow could drop off Sylvannas on lower difficulties at 1-2%, it had a 25% chance on Mythic.

it almost seems like doing the content on the higher difficulties has a higher chance at rewards?

for all we know Normal/heroic could drop the gem but the drop chance is to low.
