Make it a tier lower than normal for raid and i could actually get on board with that. I.e. first clear normal loot, all subsequent you get 1 guaranteed item of 1 difficulty lower. M+ chests are lower than the weekly reward as well.

M0 is a bit silly. You can just run a +2 for that, which isn't significantly more difficult.

Doubloons like in SL S4, that was great

Please don't. The current system is more than fine.

The issue is predetermined loot is always superior to RNG. I have been playing the pixel remasters of Final Fantasy... you could buy most gear from shops. If you opened the right treasure chest you would get a certain upgrade. It was not RNG... that chest always contained that piece of gear... RNG gearing needs to go the way of the dodo. It was nice but it's time to go. For better or worse we are mercenaries. We do the job, we get paid... not a chance for pay... but an actual, tangible reward. Otherwise is just frustration.

Not only. In season 1 you could obtain weapon for a token. Still better option than loot unwanted item. As i remember one token was from the quest. Beside this. As i saw they added weekly heroic dungeon quest with RNG box. Gearin up ways is a lot but the problem is again RNG. Some with good luck could gear up a toon in 1 week. Another one within a month couldnt. In season 1 i was gearin up my main priest for a months. When i decided to make some alts ive made warrior and gear him up over the priest ilvl in 2 weeks with great RNG lol. And thats curious becuause i think RNG work better for fresh toons or mid season. My mains are always loosers opposite to alts.

It was only weapons and it was for an entirely different reason. It didn't really offer that much variation, either and the token itself was still RNG, being a regular drop.

This is the best solution, IMO.

My understanding was that it was capped at 6 at a time, but you kept earning at the same rate if you spent them. Is that not the case?

I find the Vault to be a lot more satisfying than bonus rolls were. I like that I have options and I can control how MANY options I get by what I choose to do that week. I can get more options by spending more time in game. That's better than being limited to 2 rolls per week regardless.

I would like to see some sort of gear for currency, like let us just buy 1/8 gear with 20 of the relevant crests or something, just in case someone has REALLY bad luck (I pulled 20 out of the air, it might be way too much or not enough, just a concept).

Basically the same as it was in Season 1, except there's no quest, you just get the charge each weekly reset. So 1 charge per week, maximum 6 charges stored at once.

Ok, that's what I thought. I think people are seeing the 6 charges and thinking that's the final number they'll get over the whole season.

Cannot agree or disagree, but the problem when healers rolling on DPS trinkets stays.

Bonus rolls were fun, but as with many other fun things, they were axed so that hardcore raiders weren't Forced™ to get the corresponding tokens.
