Garrisons are still in WoD. The covenants are still in Shadowlands. The mission table is still in BfA. The Order Halls are still in Legion. None of those has gone away, either.
    Which proves my point.

I am mildly surprised this is still going.

It doesn't answer my question: how would it benefit them? You haven't given any examples of how it would benefit the "nerubians" that couldn't be given to other races through the expansion features, much like the how we can ask one of the niffens in Niffenheim right now (I forgot the name) to take us into their excavation.

    Which proves my point.
Actually, it proves my point that this wouldn't be a "racial" thing, and more an "expansion feature" thing, if it's confined to the Azjol-Nerub expansion areas only. Again: what you're describing isn't a "racial feature", but an "expansion feature".

I already explained how. Blizzard would be designing a spider city for the new spider race. Obviously that city would be designed with their unique attributes in mind. Obviously it would need to be accessible to other races, but there should be stuff in Azjol Nerub that benefits a nerubian.

Yeah, I don’t think you understand what I’m talking about here, so we’ll just leave it at that.

"Blizzard will do it" is not a valid answer to the question of "how would it benefit nerubians?" What I asked was for you to give examples that would fit your idea.

Special features of cities and outposts are not "racial features". They're expansion features, much like the Order Halls aren't a class feature.

He's riding high on his Augmentation win in the face of all the people who denied it.

Difference is, Augmentation was already datamined, while this is nothing but his hopes and dreams put out on display. And the sexy spider girls make it kinda weird.

I always said this concept was a long shot, highly dependent on Blizzard doing a Spider Kingdom expansion.

Obviously, Undermine has a higher chance of happening, and I don’t see Blizzard doing two underground expansions, so that’s where we stand. If I had to rank, I would say that the Explorer class has a higher chance of happening than this, and both are far behind Tinkers in terms of possibility.

    Thing is ..

They don't have to do underground expansions at all. They could just implement new midpatch underground content zones, like a Zaralek. It doesn't need to be the full expo.

Spider Kingdom could be an underground area that attaches Northrend to Avaloren, for example. And the purpose for having that connection could be a return of Yogg Saron, the Old God in Northrend that originally corrupted the Emerald Dream.

    Whelp Blizzard did it. They made ultra humanoid Nerubians;

So I'm pretty confident these are going to be the next allied race in the new WoW expansion. Since they're going to be an allied race, they're not likely to get their own unique class like Dracthyr. However, I could see many concepts considered here be integrated into a Druid class for this race, especially the insectoid forms.

Official for-real anthropoid spider elves... yeh!

The idea that they are 'superior, more evolved' than the more spidery nerubians... boo!

A druid with heavy insectoid themes and forms might finally get me to play a druid.

That surely didn't aged wall, imao.
So nerubs are new Nightborne in totally non-Suramar 2.0, as I understand?
That would be cool, I loved Suramar questchain.

In my mind I've already pegged them to become allied race by the end of The War Within. I just have a feeling it's planned but not announced due to it being to spoilery

They are so evolved they have only 6 limbs.

These would look much better as evolved nerubians.

You dont say. I was commenting on those ''evolved'' humanoid nerubians have only 6 limbs, so i posted nerubian with 8 limbs as a better alternative.

Started in closed beta, probably before your class was even in the game.

Because the concept doesn't work as undead crypt lords. The best way to implement this is to create a dark druid class that has a host of insect-based abilities from the WC3/HotS and other general sources. The evolved Nerubians are merely the first step in this process.
