So please address why you wrote that, as no one argued that Blizzard isn't allowed to make a profit at all (which they already are thanks to the sub).
Again, I didn't say that. You keep writing that I did but I didn't. You won't find evidence of me having ever said it because I didn't and I haven't needed to edit my posts either.

That is a literal quote from you.

Yes, but I never said they couldn't sell tokens or classic wouldn't shut down. YOU added that context and blamed me for it.

You have no idea how much money the subs cover with regards to any of their costs for the simple fact they do NOT publish that information - even in stockholder meetings. Speculation is all you have. Well, that and putting words in my mouth and blaming me for it.

Because making this argument in a thread discussing the increased monetization makes this an obvious implication.

Presenting arguments like these in the context of this discussion doesn't make this a far fetched leap in logic, because no one has even argued that Blizzard should host WoW pro bono.
You were the only person even bringing this up.

Context doesn't save you here, because you dropped this sentence out of the blue.

That's a lot of text for saying "yeah, I totally made up an argument in my head that you didn't make and then blamed you for it." Thank you for the admission. We're done.

Yeah, the quote button is also known as "making stuff up" button.

If blizzard's intention was to reduce botting by making token a better choice.....they're failing miserably because the same $20 that you could buy a token with, will get you like 50k gold from 3rd party sites

Good job blizz, you alienated a large portion of your playerbase with a "solution" that doesn't actually work.
Token system never helped against botting, it only allows blizz to double-dip for their cut in the ingame economy that they create and control in the first place.
If you knew the candle was fire then the meal was cooked a long time ago.

I mean... Runescape 3 still tanks all of the MTX for Old School Runescape... with the exception being they still have the same token system in place for old school. It's a bit Pay to win, but people generally don't have an issue with it.

Doesn't stop gold selling though, just sets a range on what the gold sellers have to sell below, which they usually don't have an issue with.

The rest of that response is rhetorical nonsense to justify an unsupportable position. Find a better argument that doesn't cause you to choose what others should and should not have. That one is DOA.
You have AGAIN avoided responding to any of the points raised. Thats your thing, isnt it? Start an argument, then just handwave away every response anyone has and refuse to actually engage in a discussion. Based on your response, you would be totally ok with a particular spec being intentionally designed and tuned to be 20% more powerful than any other spec - why would it bother you?

Nor do I begrudge anyone who does play specs or classes I dislike. Similarly, I have self control and can avoid buying tokens. I don't begrudge anyone who does buy them nor is it my place to tell anyone that they should not be able to buy them.

Fortunately, you don't get to choose whether or not I am worth anything. You may choose your level of involvement in a discussion with me, but that's the extent of your power. You conjured a terrible and unequivalent argument in response then challenged me to fix that error on your part. I am not obligated to do so - nor will I. You've already indicated you don't want to discuss, you just want to throw crap at my way and see what sticks. Okee, bye!
Yet ANOTHER example of word salad that evades, dodges and avoids responding to ANY points raised. You are the forum version of sticking your fingers in your ears, closing your eyes and yelling "lalalalalala im not listening im right about everything lalalalalalala everyone is wrong except me lalalalalala"

The context comes from the thread itself, otherwise why on earth did you bring it up at all?

you rather see gdkps and bots take over the world even more just to farm and sell gold? this will provide what everyone does, buying gold but atleast it wont go to shady ass cheaters or botters and less inscentive for them to function as their bots/scripts/unlockers cost alot of money a month.
