We're a month into the tier, a tier in which getting to the max ilvl is substantially quicker than it ever was before and we've yet to see 100 guilds clear the raid on Mythic so that feels pretty well tuned, not sure how one would consider that easy.

Heroic demanded less group communication than previous reaids have required, but I think that's a good thing as Normal/Heroic should be puggable by a competent group. This has also felt the effect of gear being much easier to obtain so bosses are getting zerged much quicker than usual.

Generally speaking, I like the current tuning. Mythic is hard for raiders, normal/heroic is puggable for M+ players and gear has a pretty clear progression system. If it wasn't for the fact the raid is kinda boring and forgettable it'd IMO be one of the best patches they've ever done.

The only thing in question for me is gear may be a little bit easy to obtain.

I expect to see Mythic clears change rapidly after a couple of weeks in 10.1.5 when raids will fast get 3-4 ilvls up just from saved aspect crests.

I fully expect the basic UI to provide me with all the information I need, and so far only WoW fails to do so.
Nothing with maybe the exception of Mythic Jailer for RtWF has required addons. X random targets with only X holes to fall down in a small timeframe made the logic weakaura almost a necessity. Everything else has been pure convenience.

The default UI does provide you with everything you need. Just because you have never actually utilized it in the first place or require additional hand-holding doesn't change that fact.

Sincerely, the hardcore casual (since calling people hardcore or casuals aren't really a valid thing anymore)
Designing for the 1% almost ended raiding entirely. The game is on a decline population wise designing things around a larger audience (change the 1% to the 10% or so) is a good decision. Obvious not everyone needs to do Mythic but more than have been doing it need to be able to do it.

Raids seem to be designed upside down, which is the wrong approach. It should not be mythic first but LFR first. Easy mechanics but not something you can ignore, then for higher difficulties add stuff and make mobs stronger.

Did you clear M Jailor without addons? Did your guild as well? If your answer is yes, source or it didn't happen.

that doesnt even matter. the last time i raided in a guild was castle nathria. we struggled mightily in heroic but thats because even in current day, we had raiders who had bad internet connections and would not be able to respond quickly enough to tactics, others that would fail to show up, others that had bad lightning storms go thru that would knock out power. the reasons a casual raid guild fails to clear stuff is not always about how geared you are. sometimes i would take over and grab 1-2 DPS ringers off the queue and knock a boss down.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.
