It is not the end of the world, and there are most likely a listing for the bug but overall, current content is running first before old content.

I still get DC issues flying into Zaralek Cavern from Azure Span. Don’t think fixing this is on their hotlist if necessary things right now.

You should see the state ICC is in lol. You walk in after the upper reaches and for some reason the green dragon encounter starts when you're all the way at the other side of the raid. Pretty wild. It started after 10.1.5 and is still in the game.

Because it's a non issue and barely affecting his gameplay. Oh no he has to take 5 seconds to reload the game, 10 seconds if his SSD is super slow. The horror. I would hope it's not a top priority to fix over actual issues. Stop acting like this is a game breaking bug they aren't fixing, it's a very minor bug way down the list of a bunch of non priority bug fixes.

People aren’t defending the bug. They’re just pointing out it’s not that big of a deal compared to other things the team is, more than likely, working on.
The bug from the Whelpling Daycare azure whelp race was more annoying and closer to gamebreaking as you’d get DC’d 90% of the time you used the whelps main ability.
Is the bug a pain in the ass? Sure, but as others pointed out, it takes roughly 10 seconds to recover from it, and then you kill Garrosh and move on.
It’s not game breaking, as it doesn’t stop you from doing what you want. It’s mainly an annoyance.
This isn’t me defending it, it’s me stating it’s not that big of a deal in terms of bugs.

All bugs should be fixed.

But bug fixing takes time and resources, and so it's a matter of priorities.

In general, QA will rank bugs based on things like how many people does it affect? - the more people this hits, the more of a priority it is; how severe is the bug? - something that stops you from playing entirely has a higher priority than something that just slows you down a little or annoys you. And so on and so forth.

Then there's a giant list of things that need fixing, and at the top is the stuff that's deemed more important, while the bottom is where stuff that's not as important goes. That doesn't mean they won't fix it or they don't care, it just means that there's a finite amount of resources to allocate to this and other stuff is higher up on the list.

That's how basically all QA works, for any product. It's not Blizzard being evil, mean overlords that directly cash in every time you DC in SoO and so they're purposely not fixing this and watching you squirm - it's just a completely trivial, completely mundane QA queue rattling on as usual.

Sorry, but WoW is too big of a game to not have bugs lying around and being found by players. Paying fully for it has nothing to do with it. Blizz still operates with limited resources and a DC in a place that is begin run only for vanity items by solo players once a week is still low on the priority list. It will be fixed eventually, but again, it took OP more time to vent here than simply log back.

Programmers fixing bugs isn't as simple as people might think. It takes time, resources. There's probably hundreds of them that people might not be aware of that are actually in high priority due to their nature.

I do however think that people here love being toxic for no reason. Most of these replies come off rude af.
