I personally think some of this would be cool but I don't think they'd reincorporate Classic elements as described, still, one of the better """leaks""", I enjoyed reading it at least.

Imagine the opening to an expansion and there is no new zone, its just not real. The old world revamp is just something wow is getting as an update, not an expansion feature.

So in stead of 11.0 we start with 10.0. Shadowlands removed as official expansion?

I can't remember the interview verbatim but it was something like 60% - 70% of active players aren't even max level. They're leveling alts or they're newer players trying things out. This line of thinking is how you actually kill an MMORPG - neglecting the new user experience lol

That said this 'leak' is obviously fake but a neat read anyways.

When was this interview from? I could see that being true anywhere from Vanilla to even something like MoP but these days? I don't know, with how absurdly fast it is to level up and how they focus basically 99% of their development time on making endgame content I just don't see how that would be possible.

Every real leak has been a quick bulleted list, wording it like an official Blizzard press release gives it away. Interesting name choice, though. Thematically fits a "revamp", is a current shaman ability and most likely we'll get some earthen ring / earth stuff with Thrall, Iridikon.

Is it a bad idea on its own merit or just unbelievable because of a lack of precedent?

I found way more enjoyment going back to a refreshed Darkshore with a new brief voice acted storyline, rares and WQs than any of the net new Dragonflight zones. If they are able to save a ton of art resources and do the Darkshore thing to like 10 old zones, instead of 5 new zones, I don't think I would mind.

The "proletariat"? Who wrote this, 1920s Soviet propaganda writer?

This is my favorite of the leaks, I hope it's the real one. Instead of just adding more zones, maybe Blizzard finally realized the game is in dire need of gameplay updates.

i like the concept of having different raids for different difficulties but its alot more work and blizz dosent want do do alot of work if most players dont actually experience the content, part of their justification for keeping lfr all this time
