Since some of you have seemingly just discovered these tools, and even shown an interest in printing the results or integrating them into your workflow, I'm going to leave this here:

    https://github.com/LykosAI/StabilityMatrix

Now, it's not quite as easy to use as a website, but just in the past few months, we've gone from having to know some amount of Python and downloading extremely large models from shady websites to just having to download a GUI with thousands of models and addons available for installation within the program.

It does a lot of the heavy lifting in terms of getting a generative AI up and running on your own PC, with few to no restrictions.

You'll still need a little bit of know-how to get good results, it won't compete with DALL-E 3 on your first prompt, or the hundreth, but you can get there. And you'll also need a semi-beefy computer if you don't want to wait five minutes per image.

Also "scars" are deemed "unsave content"
Try to separate descriptive words and be very clear with simple sentences. For example: "A male human from World of Warcraft. The human has a scar across his left eye. He is wearing plate armor. He is carrying a large sword. He is fighting a bear. The bear is brown. The bear is angry. Watercolor style." Replace words with whatever. Then let the AI fill in the rest and you curate the list of images it gives you. You can use the same prompt repeatedly until it gives you something, you don't always have to change it either. Plus, the ones you save seem to train it on what you are looking for. Be careful about using descriptions later on that contradict something earlier on. If you ask for ungulate legs, it will give you goat heads and curly horns. It's applying goat qualities across the board. Just asking for hooves might do that, but it might not.

It's not the word itself that is unsafe, it's the image it tries to give you. You can use the same prompt again and not get that. It just means it was going to give you something it shouldn't. The coins are returned to you eventually for those ones too, they don't waste them.

    Hey, this is pretty fun.

Tried my Orc Death Knight. Ran it through a couple times, but could not get it to show his entire body. Only waist up shots!

    Prompt:
A male orc death knight from World of Warcraft. He has braided hair. He is covered in ornate plate armor. He is covered in frost. He has large tusks. He is missing one eye. His armor is spiked. He is carrying an axe in one hand. The axe is made of ice. Frozen mountain landscape. He is surrounded by zombies. The zombies are rising from the ground. The zombies are covered in frost. Hearthstone style.

I can't replicate it, though I am trying to get two characters in the one image.

Are you using Bing or chatGPTs DALLE?

I used Bing for it. Tbf it took me a few attempts. You could also try: full body, head to toe

    Warning for arachnophobes.
This is a concept I had for a Dark Troll spider Loa for my Warcraft D&D games (back in vanilla Elune seemed to have favored Spiders, probably some Drow concept leaking into WoW)

A large silver hunting spider, as tall as a tree. It is decorated with intricate gold and purple jewelry. It is standing by a pristine lake inside a cave opening on a mountain cliff side. The mountain is covered with pine trees. Warcraft Style

I wanted the spider about half the size tbh.

I am going to be using this to generate backgrounds and character art for my D&D sessions for sure though. I will have to see how well it can draw weapons.

Tried to make a troll, made a Na'vi-looking alien instead. Still kinda cute.

Yeah, but I've got no idea how long they'll store all these images. I just dump any I like into folders on my HD and then upload my favorites to imgur afterwards to share.

Last night they had a really short (30 sec) wait time without boosts so I just experimented a lot, while trying to recreate my old undead rogue. I mean for him to be wearing the silver poison pack on his back but I'm too lazy to actually get it. Anyway...

Next I started experimenting with including other subjects, thes being probably the best results:

Then I started to experiment with poses, starting with crouching... Actually, for the sake of not cluttering up the page with dozens of pictures of the same character I'm gonna wait a bit and make a new post with smaller thumbnails as I went through the process of figuring out how to get good poses and other styles and eventually solid concept art pieces.

I've been trying Bing's image creator, and I've notice that this AI seems to be unable to make characters who are standing up. No matter the prompts I use, the AI always make the character either sitting on the ground or laid down.

Okay, starting with crouching (click image for full size):

I then toyed around trying to get a standing full body shot and after much experimentation finally found something that consistently worked:

I then started applying style modifiers, these are just a few of the results ranging from realistic cgi to cartoony concept art:

And now some of the prompts I used. You can mix and match a lot of these:

styles: warcraft. oil painting. brush strokes. concept art. digital art. comic art. cinematic. render. screenshot. realistic. cartoony. anime. stylized. flat colors. low poly. low detail. cel shaded.

poses: crouching and prepared for battle. standing casually. standing upright. walking.

they key to full body shots: feet planted. combine with any other pose.

camera angles: only one I toyed with was "low angle" which will put the camera below the subject. I'm sure "dutch angle" or "wide angle lense" or other such terms will work as well.

forsaken characters keywords: pale sickly human. festering. matted hair. dirty.

scenery - tirisfal glade: "gothic ruins, green sickly sky, shadowy"

scenery - quel'thalas: "magic hour, sunset, autumn, white fantasy arabesque castle, red & gold domes & spires"

"white background", "dark gray background", or a color of your choice will net you clean backgrounds if you want it to look like concept art or you just want the character isolated.

pixel art + magenta background or lime green background will yield something pretty close to real pixel art

reference art, character sheet, reference sheet, etc. can yield different angles of the same character.
