This vast land, similar in size to the other five zones, is teeming with untamed wilderness and ancient secrets waiting to be discovered.

Nahantu is a land of contrasts, from the Restless Canopy’s verdant foliage to the barren expanse of the Teganze Plateau. It is home to the Field of Giants, a place of lingering hatred, and the dark depths of the Kurast Sewers. Each location presents unique challenges and opportunities for the Spiritborn, whose connection with nature will be tested like never before.

The zone comes with new quests that will take players on a journey through Nahantu’s many dungeons. From the eerie Forge of Malice and Sleepless Hollow to the haunting Forgotten Remains and Ruined Wild, each dungeon holds dangers and treasures in equal measure.

The campaign will lead players through the Durance of Hate, to the Gates of the Necropolis, into the ethereal Spirit Realm, and finally to the Five Hills - the tomb of Akarat. Each step of this journey will reveal more about Nahantu’s history and its connection to the Spiritborn.

The pinnacle of Nahantu’s challenges is a new raid centered around Khazra. With five wings to conquer, this raid will push even the most seasoned adventurers to their limits.

New class: SpiritBorn - Uses glaives.

The release of the Spiritborn class opens up a whole new way to experience Diablo 4. Their unique abilities and playstyle offer fresh strategies for tackling Nahantu’s challenges. Whether you’re navigating through the Restless Canopy or battling in the depths of Kurast Sewers, playing as a Spiritborn in Nahantu promises an adventure like no other.

The Spiritborn, a class deeply rooted in the elements of nature and the spiritual realm. They are the children of the wild, born from the spirit of the plains, sky, soil, and forest. Their souls are intertwined with the world around them, drawing strength from the very essence of life and nature.

Their weapon of choice is the glaive, a symbol of their connection to both the physical and spiritual realms. The glaive is more than just a weapon to a Spiritborn; it is an extension of their spirit, a conduit through which they channel their power.

The Spiritborn’s power comes from two resources: Vigor and Allegiance. Vigor represents their physical vitality and endurance, gained from their bond with the earth and sky. It fuels their physical abilities and allows them to perform feats of agility and strength beyond normal capabilities.

Allegiance, on the other hand, represents their spiritual connection to nature and its creatures. It is through Allegiance that they can call upon the spirits of nature for aid, summoning ethereal allies or invoking powerful elemental spells.

The Spiritborn are not merely fighters; they are guardians of balance. They stand on the boundary between the physical world and the spiritual realm, ensuring harmony between the two. Their mission is not just to defeat their enemies but to preserve the natural order of things.

In battle, a Spiritborn is a sight to behold. They move with the grace of the wind, their glaives dancing like leaves in a storm. Their attacks are fluid and relentless, like a river carving its path through stone. And when they call upon their spiritual powers, the air around them crackles with raw elemental energy.

Whether you’re drawn to their unique blend of physical prowess and spiritual power or their noble mission to preserve balance in the world, playing as a Spiritborn offers a truly unique experience in Sanctuary.

I'll say, there are two classes that are deeply tied to that area. Obviously one is the Witch Doctors; the Umbaru live in those two zones and we will have plenty of Witch Doctors around us. The other is some form of Paladin/Crusader/Templar since we will be going to Kurast.

I don't see a link between Paladin and Spiritborn but I could see a link with Witch Doctor. Though it seems crazy to me when we still don't have a heavy armored class to give us Witch Doctors.
They have changed the name now to Nahantu giving this leak quite a bit of credibility. I really fucking hope this isn't true because the class sounds like absolute ass and the theme is already covered by druid. In what universe would this be added before a fan favorite like paladin is beyond me but it would just be another blizzard moment.

First off, it very much reads like it was generated by ChatGPT and then edited. ChatGPT loves to form meaningless fluff sentences like this:
I'm sorry mate but it's simply too well-written for ChatGPT. The fluff sentence you quote is spot on for Blizzard and way too elegant for ChatGPT, even on a good day. There's a real lack of ChatGPT's "tells" too.

I mean, is it probably nonsense? It is probably nonsense. But it's surprisingly well-written nonsense, whether you like it or not, and it ties concepts together and remembers them in the way ChatGPT absolutely fails at.

I don't think it's a "Blizzard moment" as much as a Blizzard calculation, sadly. Whilst I kind of agree with your assessment re: the class, the first expansion for D4 is going to be a really easy sell, especially if there are major QoL improvements and general gameplay improvements associated with it.

Thus they may well be keeping Paladin for Expansion 2 or even Expansion 3, in order to get people back. Because people will come back for Paladin or something very close to Paladin.

I mean, is that cynical? Yeah, but it's not a "Blizzard moment" in the sense of stupidity or airheadedness.

As an aside, if this is real (30% chance imho - only the fact that it's so well-written and consistent in tone and writing style makes it at all plausible for me), whilst I'm not enthusiastic about the class and I think you're right to say the theme seems to be covered by Druid, I could also see it working, and classes that sounded like ass before have turned out to be awesome in various games - c.f. Paragon and Dervish in Guild Wars 1, for example. Classes that have sounded awesome have also been pretty bleh before, though I will avoid naming names to avoid starting fights lol.

The biggest reason not to believe it is that there's no mention at all of anything for other classes (like a level increase or new abilities), which seems pretty far-fetched. Oh that and the two definite zone names we know which don't seem to go with this - though I guess it's just about possible zones might be added before an expansion, or the might be from something that isn't going to be used.

I'm calling BS on this leak since theres no demo area for D4, they wouldnt show off a new class and it not be playable on show floor.

    The Leak is true.

I mean, I knew Paladin/Crusader was not a guarantee, despite being the overwhelming favorite for the next class.

But if this turns out to be true, then what the hell are they thinking?

If you liked the Witch Doctor, good on you and you should always like what you like.
But I found the class stupid, silly and completely out of place.
And I cannot imagine anything other than it being the least popular class...

And now we are potentially getting another goofy, shitty, tribal voodoo class. SMH.

Wasn't this already proven fake at the very least because it got WoW's expansion wrong?

And the evidence is... where? As a reminder, there's already proof that this is highly likely to be fake because the next WoW expansion, any of the new expansion titles that were announced, does not have SoA as its acronym.

And wow part has nothing to do with D4 info.

Many times, almost every Warcraft expac has been leaked to some extent.

No. They are fan theories they want to see and sometimes they are almost believeable but then they will ruin it with something like "and thrall turns gay so jania kills him out of jealousy" that would never happen

Cool. There was a full leak of Wrath and WoD. The Legion leak mentioned Broken isles and Ashbringer. We had Bolvar and Bastion concept art leaked for Shadowlands. And that's not counting datamining leaks like Cata (which this site fully leaked), Kul Tiran textures or the Algarian Stormrider.

Here is your evidence (virustotal report): digitally signed game executable from D4 expansion.
