When they say Grand Finals, do they mean grand finals, or do they mean 1/32 finals or some ish?
I feel like Blizzard and Americans use the term "Final" very loosely.
It does say global finals in the headline. This is the one - not the group ones with their own finals, but the global one.
This is not unusual for sports. They often have all sorts of feeder events that culminate in a larger one, each with their own finals. Regionals, states, etc. In many countries, not just the US. This is very common.
In addition, since this is a double-elimination structure, you have two finals: the lower-bracket final, and the grand final. In both the group stage and for the global. Also not unusual, it's a fairly common structure especially in esports.
