Well America, it was nice knowing you, under fascist Trump you will become the next North Korea/China/Russia, and all who oppose him will probably be killed, I feel sorry for you people.

Oh, the Biden blame game is already starting. The bastion of the far right, r/Conservative, is literally on that bandwagon. They are also pushing the misinformation brigade if the shooter also happens to be a conservative or a registered Republican which shows to be true, at least on the second part. One of the things that is being pushed is "Pennsylvania has a closed primary. He registered to be a Republican for X reason". Conservatives absolutely cannot handle the fact that one of their own potentially would harm their "Dear Leader".

My math may be incorrect, but this doesn't add up.
It surely adds up. There are a TON of registered Republicans that hate Trump. And quite a few that have no issue with using violence to get their own way.

Remember, we don't know about any social media sites he visited. He could have easily been on 8chan, Stormfront or some other far-right white supremist forum and it corrupted him. He was 20 years old and, from the 20 year olds I have worked with in the past, they easily get swayed by social media in a quick fashion. We do not know his motives for doing this other than "I want to shoot this person."

There could be a contender out there but right now there is no replacement for him
Well not right now the reason these people couldn't replace him is because they lack charisma especially the black hole which is Ron De Santis. You can't really copy charisma so I agree with you somewhat maybe he / she is out there but they haven't found it yet. Since the republican party loves celebrities for President maybe they can pluck another one.

I am waiting for the John Hinckley Jr. type reveal where he did it to impress someone.

For those that don't know, John Hinckley Jr. actively shot and tried to kill Ronald Reagan back in 1981 to impress Jodie Foster when she was in the movie Taxi Driver when she was 14 years old. Funny thing was, he actively shot Reagan even though Reagan was surrounded by Secret Service. He just ran up, pulled out a gun and shot him in the chest.

This event also caused, what the far right and other gun nuts denounce, the passing of the Brady Bill. This bill still stands and requires background checks on all firearm purchases in the US.

    Not happening for the Democrats.

I will never understand this clinging to power at that age. Go play golf, farm some tomatoes, leave the governing for more able bodied people.
Pretty hilarious reading this with your next two posts.

Are you being sarcastic? He had a time machine and knew Trump would be able to run in 2024 with all his legal problems, rivals and before he announced?

No, I am deadly serious. Deadly! This is obviously just the long game being played by a liberal plant. Thank God for the divine intervention, though! /pray

Come on, I thought the sarcasm was quite obvious...

The identity and motive of the shooter doesn't really matter all that much, the propaganda potential is too powerful. Evan Vucci, the guy who took that photo, is now likely in the running to win another Purlitzer. I wonder if the Trump campaign has tried to licence it yet.

Trump just released a new statement:

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness. Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed. In this moment, it is more important than ever that we stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win. I truly love our Country, and love you all, and look forward to speaking to our Great Nation this week from Wisconsin.

Biden is playing 56D chess. I mean, his old man persona is faking everyone out.

Honestly, a small part of me thinks that it was his campaign that wrote that and not him as for it to be on brand for himself, he literally has to inject some snarky comment on his opponents of some kind. But, much like any other rumor, there is no factual basis for this and please treat it as such.

His master plan to reveal his enemies by seeing who reacts the most to his "old man" ploy!

What a crazy country, every single piece of shit owns a gun. I hope Trump has learned with this experience and aknowledges that guns are a threat to everyone safety.

...need more info on this kid's history. What little there is isn't lining up. The young man from Bethel Park, a small community in Pennsylvania approximately 40 miles south of the rally location, is believed to have used an AR-style rifle in the attempt on Trump's life, which was later found by officers after the suspect was fatally shot.
Crooks was among 1400 students who graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2022. During the graduation ceremony, Crooks was seen walking across a stage in a black gown and spectacles before receiving his diploma from a school official.
Also in 2022, Crooks was given a $500 “star award” from the National Math and Science Initiative, according to the Tribune-Review, a newspaper in western PA.

    ...and now 2 years later..hmm..

Who benefits most from a Trump assassination? I would argue it’s the far right because the fallout from the assassination would be an extreme crackdown on liberal anything. Don Jr. or JD Vance probably replace him on the ticket and either of them is much more dangerous than Trump because they’re not senile.

I continue to say that there is no such thing as vice-cult leader. Yes, plenty of other people follow Trump's hateful, racist values. No, none of them showed the crowd management and charisma he had. Nobody is out there worshipping Don Jr.

Honestly, his schooling will have very little to do with anything.

A good example of this is the Ted Kaczynski, otherwise known as the Unibomber.

Man was an extremely smart person and held a doctorate in Mathematics. Probably one of the smartest Mathematicians of his time. However, at some point in his life, he decided to move out into the wilderness and being self sufficient. Along with that, he started to actively mail bombs to various locations that actively detonated and killed people. Why did he do this? He hated technology and felt that it, along with the Industrial Revolution, were basically causing humanity to suffer and be oppressed.

Hate to break it to you but JD Vance isn't even liked in his own state, which is where I live. However, since he has a R next to his name, Republicans tend to vote for someone with that.
