    Again?

Is homeboy acting like shrinkflation is a new thing and not like it's been a major topic of discussion amongst consumer groups and economists since before the pandemic?

So obvious, Legacy Media wants Mistah Trump to win.

    • Insane Trump is slurring "kamala is crazy" and 84 other brain-curdling smears... Rattling tic tacs...
    • CNN is calling this, a "speech on the economy"

Also there are alot of conspiracy theorists who see a "common man" fighting against a deep state and then see things like MSNBC editing a Joe Rogan clip to make it seem like he is endorsing Harris or making him look sickly yellow as proof.
I also don't see fixation on abortion or issues with nonwhites from Trump supporters. It's other culture war issues, and what they see on prices etc as being due to Biden. If these voters are going to be written off as unreachable, the argument should start from truthful foundations about why they aren't.

It's supposed to be a more policy-oriented speech on the economy but he's rambling an awful lot. I don't think policy talk helps him, just too boring.

He keeps going on and on about immigration. Seriously ramping up the Hitlerian rhetoric about migrants.

If you are still voting for trump you are about as unreachable as it gets. We have gone through almost a decade of Trump now and there is no more excuses.

Missed the start of the rally, and was wondering why he's standing in front of a wall.

This venue is small and even considering that he's not able to fill seats.

Time brings up a valid point in covering ex-Hillary campaign alumni: Why were media so quick to post every leak from the DNC hacks in 2016 and why are the same media just sitting on the 270 page opposition research doc on Jay Dee Vance instead of...posting that, too?

Corporate media are both terrified of the wasteful legal challenges and seemingly unwilling to risk access to a campaign that can't stop being hostile towards them.

People wonder why there's record low trust in media? This right here is a great example why.

The economy: It's all migrants fault.

That was the speech. Once more I hate these pieces of shit cause he went into blaming migrants for high rent. One of our most broken systems in the US that so needs to be fixed and blaming a group for the housing crisis is a shit move.

Funny he rambles and lies of course that US government is paying rent and if he was still in business he would buy properties in "certain areas" and charge the government rent. This is basically how his dad got rich, first through FHA money housing people, then housing soldiers or workers during WWII and beyond.

It was frankly sickening. He's taking the rhetoric to a new level of extreme, even claiming migrants are displacing students from elementary schools, and of course characterizing all migrants as terrorists and rapists, now.

Of course they're unreachable. I mean, look at you. I've asked you dozens of direct questions and you haven't answered a one. Why wouldn't they be written off?

The core thought process for Trumpers and Republicans in general is how best everyrhing can serve them. If they do not see something as immediately beneficial to them, they want it eliminated. It doesnt matter if thats programs or people.

Im really not sure how youre supposed to reach out to that. Im not even sure its other peoples job to do so.

Change is an inward driven process. Why would they change when their behaviour currently gets them more attention?
"Winning? Is that what you think it’s about? I’m not trying to win. I’m not doing this because I want to beat someone, or because I hate someone, or because I want to blame someone. It’s not because it’s fun. God knows it’s not because it’s easy. It’s not even because it works because it hardly ever does.. I DO WHAT I DO BECAUSE IT’S RIGHT! Because it’s decent! And above all, it’s kind! It’s just that.. Just kind."

Just given the fluctuations in people that support Trump vs Biden and now Trump vs Harris, I would think the more rational stance is "There are still reachable people who were going to vote Trump a week ago, but have reconsidered their support for him and think Harris is the better candidate." The polls have been moving, and you're speaking as if Trump +1 to Harris +2 means something other than residents (of this state) have changed their mind from Trump to Harris.

I'd be very ready to join your position if polls were locked at (whatever) 47-46 for four months of Trump-Biden and then Trump-Harris. Or if you hedged a bit and declared that there's a dozen percentage points up for grabs that Trump or Harris could lose or gain.

NEW VANCE AUDIO: In an interview from 2020, JD Vance agrees with a podcast host who says having grandmothers help raise children is “the whole purpose of the postmenopausal female.

He also agrees when the host says grandparents helping raise children is a "weird, unadvertised feature of marrying an Indian woman."

    Audio in Link.

Can't lie taking this from others hot take.

Yeah this terminally online, reddit, creep motherfucker can't mention grandmothers. Postmenopausal female are a new revenue stream we can use to help raise kids.

    WTF!?!?!?!??!?!?

Then talks about his wife's grandma of living with them for a year to raise kids I guess as a cost effective child care??

I wouldn't necessarily say they are insane but more like they live and experience a different world that you do. For example for them the capitol riot was essentially nothing to them since 1. It was their side and they aren't bad people so clearly the rioters couldn't be bad people either. 2. it happened far away from them and didn't effect them directly so it couldn't be bad. Meanwhile the BLM protests were bad because they burned buildings they had to drive past on their way to work, they blocked the roads they took home/to work when they already had 2-3 hour commutes and they "didn't care" and protest when a white Austrailian women was shot by a black cop in the same area the year before. (If I remember right there was a smaller protest when it did happen but since it didn't effect people and didn't really go anywhere they essentially forgot it happened)

Trump did "help" them by having lower grocery prices than they do now. It doesn't matter if it was due to him or not because unless something effects you in some way most people tend to not remember alot about what happened years ago so effectively everything that happened under Trump was good or the fault of the dems.

They are not overtly racist, sexist, or xenophobic but the above mentioned interests are more important to them than the harm Trump does to people of different races, nationalities, etc.

Reading these forums I am left with the impression that people heavily underestimate how plentiful these people are and how unlikely it is that their minds will ever change.
Mine are all rural and so I don't hear too much on the "woke"/"pc" stuff since it basically doesn't exist here. Like if you are LGBT+ in a rural area you move away once you can since you won't find a partner around your age or find other people going through the same stuff you are and I suspect the types of jobs available also makes it less likely that you have someone complaining that ___ took their job or that they have to call Tim Mrs. Sandy now or what ever.

I suspect alot of the people here on the forums live in a bubble and don't experience much of the world outside it. The other day I got down a rabbit hole of react videos while incognito browsing youtube and was watching 5 different youtubers react to the same video (1 white guy 4 black guys) and out of them when I went to look at their other videos 2 of the black guys went full Maga with hundreds if not thousands of videos and third went into conspiracy theories and shit. Not sure if the react content views died or what but it was crazy the difference in content a few years made.

Democrats show up to vote, they get exposed for the dumbass fucking losers they are.

GOTV efforts need to be concentrated toward non boot-licking, non mouth-breathing, non ear-tampon-wearing people who love America. Not these traitorous pieces of shit.

Oh shut the fuck up. Those people are already on the other side. And if they fucking claim that now they're voting Trump, they were already voting Trump and didn't want to openly cuck daddy's balls to the world. These mother fuckers can be exposed. Fuck these people. They can rot in a fucking coal mine with black lung.
The distance between what is said and what is known to be true has become an abyss. Of all the things at risk, the loss of an objective reality is perhaps the most dangerous. The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil. When truth leaves us, when we let it slip away, when it is ripped form our hands, we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster screams the loudest.

That part is mostly true. Not only for Indians, but pretty much most Asians. My sister married a Vietnamese. When my sister gave birth to her first son, her mother-in-law moved in and pretty much raised the boys till they were old enough to go to daycare.

I'm not refuting his wife's mom moving in.

I'm stressing the part he can't wrap that broken brain around about the difficulty of two parent, working household.
