“But this isn’t the end. I promise you, this is not the end, and we have to regroup and we have to continue to fight and continue to work day in and day out to create the better society for our children, for this world, for this country, that we know is possible.” ~~Jon Stewart
Please cut down on personal invective and post on topic.
The whining about Israel and Harris not being extreme enough in her liberalism is really tiresome. If you think she can attack Israel, promise to support Palestine, espouse a far left economic agenda, and have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning this thing, you’re out of your mind.
This is America, not Norway. It’s a backward-ass country overall, and she needs to win some of its most backward states to become president. She’s speaking to those voters not to you.
You consider Michigan and Pennsylvania backwards states? Nevada?
Harris risks more from dissuading states where labor is strong than so called backwards states. It doesn't have to be a tight race, but it can be if too much time if trying to flip red states that arent going to flip anyway vs states where gladly tell a candidate to fuck off if they don't feel like they are being represented. Anyone remember 2016?
The Harris campaign and the DNC should be spending money in every state if for the only reason that it keeps the RNC busy spending dwindling resources to stay competitive. Now the amount and proportions of that spending should vary depending on likelyhood of flipping a red state of course. But states like Florida, definitely.

Michigan, the same state that plotted to kidnap it's own Governor and bomb the legislature in order to try to support Trump? The state that started the rumor that schools were putting litter boxes in classrooms so that students that identified as cats could pee? That Michigan? I mean, if the shoe fits... (I suppose if the mitten fits, really...)
If you think that Gaza is on the top of Michigan's voting concerns over economic and domestic issues, you have not been paying attention. She ABSOLUTELY stands to lose states like that if she spends too much time talking about foreign conflicts and not enough about jobs and manufacturing.

We do know that far-left progressives are unreliable voters, regardless of what state they are in. We know those same people seem to want to campaign for Trump as often as possible. We also know that they will never be happy. They will always want to whine about something.
Maybe its me, but it seems presumptuious, if not rather racist, to presume that Palestine is high on the minds of Arabs and Muslims...by benefit of them being Arab and or Muslim.
"Winning? Is that what you think it’s about? I’m not trying to win. I’m not doing this because I want to beat someone, or because I hate someone, or because I want to blame someone. It’s not because it’s fun. God knows it’s not because it’s easy. It’s not even because it works because it hardly ever does.. I DO WHAT I DO BECAUSE IT’S RIGHT! Because it’s decent! And above all, it’s kind! It’s just that.. Just kind."

You just want something to yap about don't you. I made a comment on what states are actually relevant to hit 270 and your going off about progressives. Did I bring up needing to appease progressives? Nope. If Michigan was a progressive state it wouldn't be a battleground state, would it? Think instead if just looking to pick a fight.
And this statement. Come on now.. The average American is an unreliable voter, literally. Americas do not vote in general, regardless of political affiliation. Actually someone who identifies as a progressive might be more likely to vote than some random person off the street because at least they know enough to self-identify with something. They might for some silly ass 3rd party candidate or skip the presidential race and only vote local but they are out there. We do know that far-left progressives are unreliable voters
Jesus Christ.

Those states are filled with moderates, where pandering to die-hard progressives doesn't really sell across the state. the constant litmus testing is a bit weird.

Isn't Trump rates as one of the worst presidents in history?
"Democrats not saying the words" has been their spiel for that last 8 years.
This is what happens when Harry Potter fans refuse to grow up, and then glob onto fantasy campaign of Bernie. Spend the following eight years in the magical world of irony-poisoned podcasts and substacks.
Everything can be solved by saying the magic words Icantus Medicarus Forallium. The Hermoine/Tsundare scolds will hassle you for correct intuation.
They invent evil versions of Hillar/Biden/Obama/Pelosi, that supposed know these magic words. But wont say them, just to spite the of House SmugassSandrers.
Also as true unreconstructed Rowling fans. They're quite willing to throw trans people under the bus. Other minority factions kinda exist as props to them.
Trump voters have spent 8 years have constructing a permission structure to embrace his cruelty, "because he's tough".
Cosplay Progressive have spent 8 years constantly revising a permission structure to reject Democrats. They constantly back up the goal posts until there's no ground left. Then glob onto whatever is next in their newsfeedtm.
Anyways, in big news that normie voters care waaay more about:
Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell said Friday that the "time has come" for the United States to start cutting interest rates, adding that his "confidence has grown" that the battle against inflation is on track.
This was a long time coming. All we had to do to get the Fed to change its mind was.... force out Biden <shrug>.
Thank you for a reply that's actually relevant. Hopefully she does right by labor, thats pretty much why they picked Walz as a her partner.
Completely just derailed my opinion that the race isn't about flipping backwards states, but just a handful of states such as Michigan, Penn, Nevada, etc. Really wouldn't call those states backwards, and a candidate defy wouldn't want pundits going around calling those states backwards either.

My brother in Christ if you didn't didn't know what 'labor' meant then why didn't you just look it up before going on an left flank tangent, or perhaps just asked what means.

I'm not sure if you made that up all on your own, or if you copied from someone else. Regardless, that is hilarious. If it's you, then you've officially peaked in life.
It's rather strange how hard progressives work to campaign for Trump.

I'm well aware of what "labor" is. I'm finding the constant whining and nitpicking of the far left to be a great exemplification of why they should not be relied upon in an election. The Democrats also know what "labor" is, and that's why Harris is pro-union.
