Last night for me wasn't about deciding on who to vote for. But rather, finding out if I can be confident in who I will be voting for. Will I have to pinch my nose, or will I be proud of my choice.

After the debate, I can say with confidence, I am Team Kamala.

I was concerned that she might do what most candidates do, and try to be a professional while trump is a bully. Instead, she brought the heat! But not only put him to the fire, but did it with maturity and professionalism. Seeing how she handled the former president, I have no doubts she will lead our nation in foreign affairs with dignity, strength, and respect.

I appreciate calling Trump on his bs but to keep hammering on him while giving Harris perfect set up questions...it was just a lot.

I understand this debate was more for undecided voters but I really don't think most voters vote around policy more around their "feelings" and just how candidates come off and despite it all I think Trump won the debate based on that. If we're arguing policy, substance Kamala absolutely wiped the floor with Trump but again people respond more to "feelings" and Trump absolutely came off as more "powerful" and I think that means more to voters than people think.
Then it’s the slightest amount of compensation for the absolute baby glove treatment the media has given Trump up until now.

That's the key feature. She didn't ignore his blatant lies and phony behavior, but she also didn't turn things into a circus. She mocked him with her offhand weapon while focusing on issues and her agenda with her main hand.

And she actually rattled him a few times, taking him on track. The comment about people leaving his rally's threw him off course pretty hard. I don't think i've seen anyone get under his skin like she did last night. Quite impressive.

If you have a problem with Trump being called out on his lies, or him not being able to answer the questions given you are not "hard camp Kamala".

You might as well take the mask off. You aren't fooling anyone with this bs, this is like some Joe Rogan enlightened centrist aka actually maga but don't want to admit it take if I have ever seen one.

This debate was... special. You can actually see the moments where Kamala really gets to Trump. Hitting him in the crowds was definitely a big one. Forget pee tapes, Trump monumentally shit the bed. And he knows it.

If someone craps their pants to make people think they’re an idiot and then say “ah but I was just pretending to be an idiot!”… well, they still crapped themself.

Everyone wasting so much time on this one poster because they couldn't catch the (eventually blindingly obvious) sarcasm... good lord, get over it. Surely there are better things to spend your typing on.

Pretty lackluster debate from both sides. Trump his usual rambling self. But Harris dodged question after question starting with the very first one. Didn't address the economy or the border. Devolved into arguing about rallies. Won't move the needle one bit.

Until Harris can build a 4-5 point lead nationally, Trump will continue to be the comfortable favorite to win. Any poll you see with them tied is a huge red flag for Harris.

Is there not an open mic night you can go to with all this material?

"she didn't talk about the border!"

She only mentioned the bill Trump killed that would of helped out the border, was there anything more that needed said? Trump would rather it be in a bad situation for his re-election than to actually help it. You really aren't fooling anyone with posts like this.

    Bet.
Here's his commentary: Kamala Harris got the debate she wanted

He's not quite enough of a hack to pretend Trump won, but he clearly knows what is expected of him by his paymaster. There are a number of "yeah, but-" nods to pretending that Donald Trump did not have an abysmal performance, but this one is probably the most obviously moment where you can see the invisible hand of Peter Thiel working his mouth:

And the stature gap in terms of physical size was also notable, especially with Harris having a shorter podium. Sometimes you’ll hear people say that you should watch the debate with the sound off, and by that measure it was much closer than with the sound on

"Trump was taller. And if you watched with the sound off, he almost tied!" What a hack.

With few exceptions, the men who are running this Government are of a mentality that you and I cannot understand. Some of them are psychopathic cases and would ordinarily be receiving treatment somewhere. Others are exalted and in a frame of mind that knows no reason."

Ah, yes, the old "Trump gets a yuge bigly victory because Harris couldn't stand on a box".

Um, the cameras were focused on both of them splitscreen about 90% of their shared on-camera time. The difference in height could have been anything from eighteen inches to zero. It was a non-factor, unless you're desperate for ways Trump didn't get his giant fat ass handed to him on live TV. It's way up there with "the box is sturdy" when reviewing a video game.

Going to issue a hard disagree that it was blindingly obvious. Without going into the posters history there was nothing to indicate those posts weren't just more of the same from Cult Trump. Sarcasm requires going beyond - which is nearly impossible with how extreme the cult has gotten.

There are very real people who think and post those types and styles of posts on the internet. If that was a new account we'd have ZERO reason to think it wasn't an actual trumper.

I absolutely agree that those posts could have easily been from a cultist (pretty much the whole point, I guess), and that sarcasm on the internet is tough. But I think it was this post that did it for me.

But even after they asked how much more obvious they could make it, people still kept going, which I guess is what I'm getting at more. People struggle to let go of things.

Biggest thing for me right now is Trump admitting he met with Putin after he left office. While he had all those documents...

If i've learned anything about debates, its that questions will not be answered. It is pretty common.

And the material isnt even good. These are weak attacks. My FB feed is now regularly seeing posts by Barasshole about Harris being a "flip flopper", which was a stupid attack on Kerry, but its just weak. "We have nothing on you, but you changed your mind and thats bad!" Isnt a winning hand when Derp Furher cant hold a consistent train of thought.
"Winning? Is that what you think it’s about? I’m not trying to win. I’m not doing this because I want to beat someone, or because I hate someone, or because I want to blame someone. It’s not because it’s fun. God knows it’s not because it’s easy. It’s not even because it works because it hardly ever does.. I DO WHAT I DO BECAUSE IT’S RIGHT! Because it’s decent! And above all, it’s kind! It’s just that.. Just kind."
