Idaho state Legislature candidates in Latah County set up a bipartisan forum, a "Meet your candidates" type deal. Incumbent Republican state Senator Dan Foreman, in attendance, was asked if discrimination exists in Idaho and he said "no".

Trish Carter-Goodheart, House candidate and a Native American, apparently pushed back on this gently, leaning on her own experiences with discrimination in the state.

Apparently this triggered Senator Foreman who threw a temper tantrum, swearing and complaining about "liberal bullshit" before storming out like a child and telling Trish Carter-Goodheart she should "go back where she came from" which like literally "no u" because she's actually of native ancestry?

Anyways, it sounds like Republican Senator Foreman has a long history of this, including yelling at students for lobbying for birth control and demanding apologies from constituents who he thinks are rude to him and blames it on the fair the "confrontation" happened at.

    What a sensitive, delicate pissbaby.

Maybe the people in the actual union were more interested in… you know, their livelihoods, than pointless political posturing in the vague hopes that Trump 1) gets elected and then 2) gives a rat’s ass about them.

Real talk. 2018 or so we got a bidet. Covid hit. SO and I had zero TP shortages. Just pat dry. Maybe 2 squares tops. Roll lasts a long time.

Do it. Order one now. If you're feeling fancy get the ones that hook up a hot water line.

Trump is a loud, obnoxious, aggrieved white male who talks down to women and minorities while spewing hate for immigrants on top of promising to do terrible things to them. He has no connection to "Jews" and he frequently took advantage of minorities and POC for their labor while never paying them a cent for it. He's lost many lawsuits for being openly racist. He talks directly to aggrieved white male conservatives and validates their hatred for anyone who's not white cishet male. He talks a big game and promises radical change. He claims he doesn't take money from politicians or foreign interests like other politicians all while receiving monetary kick backs under the table from those very people.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter what Trump does to any of these people, what matters is what he says, and he portrays the typical "strong man" vibe in his speeches.

He's a menace, a terrible human being and corrupt to the core. But that's what conservatives want in their leader. They want someone willing to break the rules to get what they want, all the while talking down to black people saying "If you'd just comply with police you wouldn't get shot!"

He proclaims his opponents as weak and ineffectual, incapable of doing anything correctly while also proclaiming them dangerous and a threat to American freedom because apparently they're actually super strong and capable of doing that when it's convenient to the narrative.

He's the perfect candidate for low education aggrieved white people who still think IQ tests are an accurate representation of someone's intelligence and capabilities.

Donald can't even fill a school gym anymore, apparently.

    "But he's not speaking!"

    Sure, fair point.

Appears to be the same location, mid-speech. Yes, half of it is still intentionally kept empty.

Does this matter? Not really in reality, limiting the sizes of his rallies might partially be a security matter and all that and that's fine.

But he keep making it a point of bragging about his crowd sizes and how they're bigger than Kamala's and I'm not sure that's remotely true.

Yes it is gross, but I'd rather have people show that 'reaching across the aisle' can be normal instead of whatever the MAGA cvlt is doing. Yes, Liz may not support Harris' initiatives a lot but other might and that's the point. I mean is Romney still a thing? He seems somewhat...reasonable...

When have any of them showed up to help the Democrats after an election? I can count it one hand. They go right back to championing and campaigning for Republican platforms. Don't know about the Democrats but I can't a lot of nice words for the Republican party.

Who cares? Probably zero. This isn't about democratic initiatives. This is about the United States not handing over the keys to the kingdom to a 78-year-old convicted felon and rapist pedophile. That's it. Nothing else matters until that we achieve that item.

I agree that those current Republicans that are supporting Harris are doing it for self-serving reasons. The same can be said for the Democratic party with these people temporary supporting them. As long as it doesn't allow Trump to get elected, I don't care if every old school Republican temporary supports Harris and votes for her.

They don't make it a secret that they don't support Harris on a policy level. They see voting for someone they don't agree with policy wise a far lesser evil than voting for Trump and his cronies.

This. When someone, like Dick Cheney who is a horrible person in his own right, says that he will vote for someone that he vehemently disagrees with on policy, that should say a lot about the person he will not vote for.

Anyone that thinks that the Republicans voting for and supporting the Democrats isn't a temporary thing just to prevent someone that is, pretty much, a danger to society on multiple levels, I've got a bridge to sell them.

really telling how the bar for what is acceptable and not acceptable isn't weather you're a disgusting war criminal who should be dragged to the Hauge VS uhh... NOT being that. no, its weather you're rude and crude about being a disgusting war criminal who should be dragged to the Hauge. what a super duper encouraging thought for where this country is headed!

Not in the slightest, Dick Cheney got away with a lot but he didn’t do near as much as what Trump did when you look it, event by event.

And as evil as Dick is, even he knows just how evil Trump can be if unrestrained and with Project 2025 helping to fast track loyalists into positions and the Supreme Court saying the president is a king so long as he surrounds himself with loyalists who will follow his orders and so he can call it an official act, the next president will be the least legally restrained president in US history.

Now, I don’t think Republicans had any issue creating a monster of this level, they just thought they would be that monster and it work in their interests and not someone like Trump who doesn’t care and will burn the whole nation down in a temper tantrum if he wants and has already said he doesn’t care about the consequences of stuff because by the time it’s really an issue, he will be gone and it’s not his problem.

That doesnt show fox saying walz won, I guess you can count that....

I also was talking about the politico commentators about the debate, but if you want to take a poll of a anti republican website, sure

Why aren't any of you complaining about Doug Emhoff allegedly abusing a woman in France. Kamala said we have to believe all women. I understand the mainstream media(abc cbs nbc-- the dnc media) was crawling all over themselves to talk about Melenia and her biography and abortion but are silent over this. I guess it's not metoo news if it's a democrat.l The best was Jen Psaki going crazy over him as the new masculinity. You know, the kind that ruins his first marriage by sleeping with the nanny and getting her pregnant. Add that to the Slapping in France and he is the new masculine, Andrew Tate type masculine.

1> "Allegedly". It's an accusation with no real evidence to support it. Doesn't mean it didn't happen, but gathering the torches and pitchforks is jumping the gun.

    2> He isn't being prosecuted.

3> If you check the papers real carefully, you might notice that Doug Emhoff isn't running for any public office, so his character's entirely irrelevant to the election.

You're so, so desperate that you're willing to desperately rake for whatever muck you can fund, huh?

Edit: Oh, it bears mentioning that, since you're a Trump advocate, your chosen candidate's objectively known to be a rapist. Determined, in court, to be a rapist. If you're going to complain about the treatment of women by a candidate in politics, if you're not condemning Trump to a far greater degree than Emhoff, then it's clear you don't actually give a shit about women. Maybe stop supporting the unapologetic rapist if you want people to take you seriously on shit like this.
