On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.
- H. L. Mencken
The Republican candidate for the governor of North Carolina could be a cardboard cutout for all the difference it makes. The white morons who make up the majority of the state’s voters will still vote for it because it’s in the Republican column and because Trump is at the top of it.
Charlie Kirk will make a great contender for the GoP nomination in 2028, if Trump loses this election. Though, I am honestly not sure who will win at this point. I fear the conspiracies involving Hurricane Helene will hurt Harris' campaign as well as FEMA giving money to immigration. Sad!

Yes, did you forget the 2020 NC numbers compared to the polling? He won it easily even though the polling showed it close. Unless you think 100,000 votes is a close win.
Then again there are some people that think texas is "close" to going blue when we're talking half a million votes minimum difference so I shouldn't be surprised if people think voting numbers that large are close because its single digit "points".

The hurricane..s have changed things.
Voters in North Carolina and Georgia have bigger problems than politics. Helene changed everything
And then we have Johnson being...a johnson, waiting until after the election to get the House back in session, to vote on disaster relief. Not calling this yet, but having a Ted Cruz moment wasn't a good idea.

So you're saying you think Robinson has a chance to win? Cause Trump has a chance to win NC, and Robinson has effectively no chance. So that would be false.

I didn't say it would be an easy win. I said it could be. These are very different things. Harris could also get an easy win in NC, both things are within the margin of error of current polling and how reliable they have been recently.
