Unlikely to pass yes, but remember that we're talking a scenario where Republicans control everything and we've already heard what the SCOTUS has to say about the legality of matters of things that a President can do during the "course of their duties". It's not outrageous to think that Trump could simply claim that laws should pass with just a majority for the "good of the nation and to protect it from enemies" and you'd get the nod from Roberts and Co.

We even used to have a moderator on these very forums that literally cheered on a group of vigilantes who were capturing "migrants" (some were American citizens and torturing them. Now as she seeks to court the Republican vote by being pro Israel and for strong border protection she's losing a lot of support on the left. I was feeling good about this election but now I dunno guys, feels like Harris might be fumbling this as she pushes to the right.

Harris' stance on the Israel/Palestine situation is the standard stance Democrats have had on Israel/Palestine situation pretty much as long as there has been an Israel/Palestine situation. If Israel/Palestine is the big issue for you this election...than you should worry less about Kamala's status quo position and more about the other guy's "bomb Palestine back into the stone age" position. Except you weren't better off 4 years ago. Four years ago we had thousands of Americans dying daily from COVID and civil unrest due to the George Floyd protests. The economy had cratered and we had Trump running around spreading lies about COVID and the upcoming election (getting COVID himself, almost dying, and then rushing back to the capitol to tell everyone that the virus wasn't a problem). Yeah, I guess gas was cheaper per gallon, but the idea that things were great 4 years ago is a myth that people have in their brains that is clearly being pushed by right-wing media. Sadly the democrats are doing a poor job of pushing back on that narrative.
