Well they do have a very difficult time even mentioning why they support a 34 times convicted felon and a rapist. I'm pretty sure @Doomcookie has asked the guy with the sexual offender avatar numerous times why he supports sex offenders.

Eh, 8 years in a row. Three elections, four years between each, 8 (to 9) years, total.

You're right, for some reason my head's just translated two presidential terms and an election with 'Three presidential terms' and just sort of went with 12. Lmao.

    Great movie by the way.

Some huge corporation pays to be featured on an episode, the CEO spends a week working at some local franchise, tells the story of a couple of the employees, gives one a paid vacation and another a scholarship, and then goes back to doing business as usual instead of raising wages to lift up all their employees.
Nah, this won't sway the "independents" anymore than his racism does. This is just to give his base something to randomly believe Trump is a good person that works hard, like the tooth fairy or trickle down economics.

Well, the fact that he actively put effort into something, I would say yes. While it was staged, he still had that look of "Why the hell do I continue to do this?" like most McDonald's workers have.

Oh look the franchise owner is a piece of shit. Mentioned as many he owns multiple franchises and sucks up for the tax cuts.
I'm honestly surprised we don't see some sort of response to this by McDonalds. I imagine they care a lot about brand image and by doing nothing, it's like they're complicit and against half the nation that spends billions in their restaurants daily.

I'm not sure what you expect McDonalds to do about franchise owners being Trumpers, cause there ain't much they can do about it, and probably tons of them that are Trumpers and would of done this same stunt at the drop of a dime. If they broke any franchise regulations or agreements, then sure McDonalds could step in but otherwise until someone points out what those are nothing they can do about it. This wasn't a corporate owned McDonalds.

Yeah, I had to look them up. I thought they went out of business long ago.
Since it is a recent thing and they probably got word of it like everyone else did, they are probably weighing their options. Biggest thing they can do is revoke their franchise license because they are using McDonald's owned land for political purposes not sanctioned by McDonald's themselves. Could be wrong here though.

Otherwise, other than putting out a statement saying their stance, they cannot do much as the franchise owners do have a lot of leeway on how they can run their business.

    You're totally wrong on this.

A franchisee doesn't get license to use the IP for whatever they want.

McDonalds is also known as one of the strictest franchisers in the world too considering they own the land the franchises are built on. They lease the land, building, and rights for a company to run a franchise there, that franchise owner doesn't own shit in this process. McDonald's can burn that shit down for any reason they want at any time.

People protesting that specific McDonald’s could very well force the corporation’s hand into action.

eh... I'm not sure how much this stunt really matters to them. Or how much people are associating it with the brand as a whole, vs that specific owner.

Sure go ahead and show me the franchise agreement they have contracted with him.

Cause unless you're a franchise owner for McDonalds I'm taking this post about as serious as an Elon Musk tweet. Real trust me bro vibes coming off. In fact a quick google search already told me half of your post is wrong, McDonalds only owns 45% of the land it's restaurants are on. Which is what I expected because in that sort of business the land is usually leased out, zoning laws prevent the actual corps from owning a lot of it and it's leased from local contractors.

It sounds like you're just really upset about a nothingburger. McDonalds likely ain't going to do shit about this, and legally probably can't do shit about this. Best they could do is release a statement saying they don't support the Trump campaign but they won't because even if they meant that(doubt) it's meaningless anyways.

It’s not like 538 is showing anything better.

The only real hope here is that the ‘Red wave’ expected is as dogshit as the one at mid terms.

The problem is Trump wasn’t on the ballot at mid terms. He seems to excite the red neck and/or low taxes equal some imagined version of economic prosperity crowd.

No they are poor. They just hang on the belief that someday they will make it big.

Considering that most of this Trump "momentum" is junk polls and standard race tightening, I'm willing to bet that it is dogshit.
