There is a reason why 90% of 'independent voters' are actually Republicans afraid to come out for their beliefs.
They know the dogshit they peddle.

I think what Endus was touching on is that women in Republican families that voted for Harris to preserve their rights would have to lie about voting for a democrat for fear of potentially violent repercussions from said family.

We've moved on from windmills and birds. Its all about the solar panels and rabbits now.

Good lord, don't go giving them actual ideas. I'm willing to bet someone out there would applaud this option.

That...sounds like a feature? So we can go out to our solar panels and grab some pre-cooked rabbit? Hell fuckin yeah, brother, sign me up!

So long as they whisper sweet lies in their ears while being lying assholes to those they dislike and make them feel good being horrible people, they will have no issues looking past their crimes and calling them fake.

Their entire party would back them openly if they did that.

If a rabbit gets onto my roof and gets tangled in the solar panels up there, quite frankly, it deserves what it's getting.

By the way, you know what this means. @tikcol @TheramoreIsTheBomb and @Dragon Claws (who vanished from Politics for 8 years and chose now to return, there's a word for that) you have each proven you take things Trump says seriously, even if you don't all claim to be Trump supporters, and this is a fast-moving thread.

Rabbits caught in solar panels? Whether you believe that's true or not, why don't you find literally even one time that's happened. Bear in mind, Trump said it in public on purpose as if it's a significant issue, and surely someone running for the WH wouldn't bring this up if it wasn't a significant concern? So surely you will have no issues finding loads of citations not only of the event itself, but of how big of a deal this is.

This one's for all you horse race fans!

    New Mexico shock poll.

    Harris 49, Trump 46
    Big stuff!

Now what polling outfit did this poll?

Well, Richard Grenell made these numbers up and then just posted them, you see. You'll note the hundreds of responses to his tweet that appear to take the numbers he just made up and posted, seriously.

I hope this is actually indicative of the broader MAGA/Republican movement - all built upon lies, with people lying to each other and publicly and there actually being very little real support outside the fiction they create.

    Oh, absolutely.

I dunno if you'd get this same sort of cult level behaviour from them, though.

Why are you champion being lied to? Why are you encouraging politicians to do make believe?

And why do you think this had anything to do with his safety? He's not doing this at any other stops?

Seems odd to go to these lengths to white knight for what is very obviously a fake publicity stunt that he tried to play off as a real, genuine, authentic moment.

Or course the reality is if Harris did this you were be all up in here with your performative outrage at how fake she is.

    We all see you.

Another Trump event canceled...wait it was virtual?

Trump abruptly cancels 'virtual roundtable' amid reports of 'exhaustion'

The Hill's Hanna Trudo reported that "Trump was scheduled to hold a virtual roundtable with RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard today, which has now been canceled."

The 78-year-old Trump has been backing out of multiple planned events amid reports that he's feeling "exhausted" by the demands of the 2024 presidential campaign.

Vice President Kamala Harris has taunted Trump over these cancellations on the campaign trail and has used them to make the argument that he lacks the mental fitness to do the job.

"Now he is ducking debates and cancelling interviews," she said during a campaign rally in Michigan last week. "Come on! And check this out: His own campaign team recently said it is because of exhaustion! Well, if you are exhausted on the campaign trail, it raises real questions about whether you are fit for the toughest job in the world!"
“But this isn’t the end. I promise you, this is not the end, and we have to regroup and we have to continue to fight and continue to work day in and day out to create the better society for our children, for this world, for this country, that we know is possible.” ~~Jon Stewart

Hell yes, get this back in the news. One of the worst things for Trump’s optics iirc.

A shame we never got the debate round 2 between Harris and Trump. Just to really drive home what an inarticulate, inferior person Trump is.

I guess there’s technically still time, but Harris would have to go into full-on taunt mode to get Trump’s attention over it.

Not only that but there are very real privacy issues at play when it comes to employment verification. Business don't just tell anyone who worked there when.

Not to mention McDonalds doesn't win - if they validate her employment then conservatives will scream about election interference, if they say she never worked there dems will cry foul for a company taking a side.

Staying quiet is the smartest choice for them.

Looking at the increase activity of "certain" posters, this thread will be goddamn nuts a day before the election.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

I think we're all better off that this didn't happen, given the folks who would have been attending.

Do you have a source for this other than your brain cannon?

Also do you have an answer as to why the Republicans find themselves less and less popular every year?

Eh, I wouldn't be surprised if this election had lower turnout than the past few. There just isn't the same passion and drive on either side. But we'll see.

Dunno. Peeps now fully experienced Trump rules and are fully aware how high the stakes are.
