New heritage armors (Draenei and Troll) are not acceptable

Both Trolls and Draenei are getting their heritage armors in the new patch. However, after datamining these armors in the PTR, it is not acceptable such a lazy design. Most of the pieces of the heritage armor look like green questing items. The design is too simple and careless. It seems like they've put the minimum level of effort, which is too sad. I think we deserve better heritage armor designs and they must, at least, improve them. They can do better. If we continue to let these poor designs go, worse things will happen.

I kinda get where they was coming from, with the troll armor, which was meant to be kinda "voodoo" Looking but the head piece ruins it for me, and how it gives you a beak. im still hoping wr get a "Clothless" version of it. But I think the Draenei one is so awful They should of gone with a look which was matching the Draenei concept art from way back when.

Also kinda werid, that Trolls are getting a Bonous 2 hander sword with there armor not gonna lie

Draenei's heritage armor is one of the worst things I've ever seen. It looks so bad that I believed it was part of April Fool's Day. It's been the first time I've seen a heritage armor and disliked every single piece.

I kind of like the Draenei's heritage armor. It reflects their status as refugees, living in a wreckage of their ship in a foreign land, having to scavenge the debris of their fallen vessel to survive.

You don't have to put the head piece. There is plenty of great helmets already in the game who would fit perfectly.

As for the draenei one, the chest and the helmet have some great potential. The helmet mostly for some kind of rogue ceremonial tmog, and the chest for some sort of civilian mog.

Both sets are great design and fit perfectly to the respective race. There are other sets that could a touch up to be on paar with these two (dwarf for example)

Hard disagree, the troll set is based on the Darkspears' most iconic looks from WC III with a shadow hunter / headhunter look and the draenei one is almost a carbon copy of the initial draenei shaman key art from TBC with gloves, shoulders, and helmet, basing them on their Outland architecture and totems instead, harkening back to the draenei as interstellar refugees. I am much happier with the armor having a distinct identity related to their heritage rather than being generic crystal paladin set and generic savage hunter set.

Draenei set is perfect and exactly what I was expecting/hoping for, there's plenty of draenei armor but we don't currently have any draenei gear that reflects their typical clothing depicted in concept arts.

Troll one is fine, could be better. Wish the it had baggy pants along with the garb.

I think for the troll one, they should lose the cloth. Maybe add a version with and without, like the draenei helm. Apart from that? I think it's cool and fits great.

The draenei set is a good example of why sometimes 'less is more'. There is too much going on.
They tried to mimic the old concept add, while also trying to include plenty of crystals. The set looks miles better without the shoulders, but even then it feels like not even all items are from the same set. Draenei set needs some tweaks yes.
I will not reply to posts that are non-constructive or contain flaming and/or trolling.

They both look terrible, no interest in getting these lol. Why can't they make heritage armor on the level of the human/orc sets, this is just bad.

They're both fine. The draenei one is clearly based off some of the old concept art and the Troll one is straight up Sen'Jin. Maybe move the cloth below the nose and it would be nice if the troll mask had physics on it but other than that I like em.

They need to put the cloth of the head piece on the Trolls under the nose and not ontop then the armor set is fine in my opinion.

These sets are objectively not lazy. The textures are clearly high-quality and very detailed. What you mean to say is that you personally don't like them, which is something you’re going to have to get over.

Draenei heritage armor is the only one that is true to the Draenei past of concept design.

It's not about textures. You just did not get it.

The draenei set is objectively lazy. They didn't even bother to figure out how to not have the tail clip through the robe, and the red cloth on their back ends abruptly like it just disappeared. The belt should also use unique 3D assets.

That doesn't mean it's a good design. They could have designed a nice heritage armor set and still honour "the Draenei past of concept design".

Heritage armors are about encapsulating the race's iconic look. Most races' iconic looks arent' super fancy, they're rather tame compared to most armor in the game.

The troll one is fantastic. While I never really felt the concept art for Draenei really captured how they are in game its fine I suppose.

I think it is a good design, as it captures who the Draenei are/were and keeps it iconic.

I voted yes for sets to be improved, because objectively there are some iffy elements.

For the troll one,at the very least they should change the headpiece as lots of people don't like it's execution. You should be able to either take the headcloth -AND proper headcloth that doesn't cover the nose, and a ritual mask.

Ideally I'd also replace shield with spear quiver, or proper Shadow hunter grab. and add some stuff to the belt, like potion, voodoodoll, shrunken head.

I feel that for dranei they should slightly remove some stuff as indeed A LOT is going on there.
