Blizzard as the only news source, why is that?

I notice that the MMO Champion only shares news from Blizzard as the only news source. Almost never do we see a news item from another source than Blizzard with WoW related news.

Why is that? And could this be something which you could expand and improve the website with? Just curious btw.

If blizzards the first to make the article there isn't really anything else to share.

Well, on one hand, other sources can be just speculation or just wrong.
On another hand, there are news not shared by Blizzard, like datamining, world firsts etc.
And lastly, Blizzard's own news thing and forums are kinda crap to follow.
Or do you mean pulling stuff from wowhead and the like? Wouldn't this be like having news channels post news from other news channels instead of doing their own thing?

With WoW related news i mean not only news that regards the game itself. Also stuff from the community, addons and such.
