Ah, maybe my favorite one. So pulse-pounding.
Always loved the shockwave of his wing flaps at @1:37
Also seeing the immense trail of destruction in the background at @1:49

Kinda sad how his fight should have been epic and Blizz couldn’t pull it off due to limitations.
This cinematic showed how devastating of a force he was just from coming out of the ground, compared to all of the dragons since then.
Cinematic is great.
Cinematic was easily the best part of the whole expansion
Ahh the confetti boss!!! Such a let down, everything leading up to it, amazing, then.... Death (Party Popper) Wing
One of the best expansion cinematics, how did we go from this to Disneyflight?
This was the bleakest point in WoW's history. Lorewise (sub-wise, that would be the Sylvanas Saga ).
- The two factions were depleted after a massive war against the Lich King;
- The land itself was rising up in upheaval;
- Renewed conflict between the two factions;
- And a giant dragon who can burn entire zones just by flying.
This was easily the bleakest expansion in WoW, the time of greatest crisis. It's called "Cataclysm" for a reason. The time when the Old Gods almost won and ushered in the Hour of Twilight. In many ways, this was the most AMBITIOUS expansion ever.
I'm going to agree with every point. Deathwing, and the Cataclysm, really felt like a proper threat to existence.
Maybe I'm being materialistic here, but a giant dragon physically obliterating the planet is more scary than some bald dude trying to usher Death upon this world, or "the ol' Geds comin' fer the soul of Azereth!", despite the end result being the same. Even the Burning Legion seemed less dangerous than Deathwing, simply because their threat still felt contained to the Broken Isles.
I think it's important to make villains have a greater impact on the whole world outside of a few invasions during a pre-release event. I mean, look at Fyrakk... Dude says he wants to set the world on fire, but barely showed his face in a couple of zones, and his only footholds were two camps on a remote isle. Man, if you want your threat to be taken seriously, just go out there and burn some stuff.
One of the best Blizzard cinematics! It's a shame that in game Deathwing never lived up to it.
Man, if you'd told me when this expansion trailer dropped that we'd end the expansion by fighting Deathwing's... fingers... I'd have called you insane. This is such a hype expansion trailer.
Its funny, this is by far my favorite cinematic but I loathe this expansion (its the one that made me quit WoW for several reasons).
