And yet the devs think it is that important that some loot is only available from organized raids. Seems that gatekeeping must be preserved even in a "fun quirky event". Hazzikostas is everywhere.

the infinites were never evil. Black Morass was them literally stopping Medivh from opening the Dark Portal so the Orcs can murder everything.

why are we so quick to trusting Aman'fool's "true timeline" where every other deviant, no matter how infinitesimal, needs to be eliminated imminently. reminds me a lot about the TVA vs Loki.

If they had stopped the dark portal from opening, the Orcs wouldn’t have been here to save the Tauren from the Gnolls, allowing them to be wiped out. Similar with the Trolls. BEs would be a dying faction open to being overrun by the next threat that came at them.
Without the Horde, the Alliance would have assaulted ICC by themselves, with more of a concentrated force blocking them. They would have been alone against the Legion, as well as every threat that Azeorth has encountered since.
Azeroth might well have fallen long before current events if it hadn’t happened.

Also, if anyone watches or reads any kind of summary explanations, then they’d know that Deios, as a leader, was trying to bring about Murozond to sow chaos.
With the introduction of Eternus, we can see that some have joined him in an attempt to change things for the better.
Up until DF, most of the reasons the Infinites did things were a mystery, with certain recent events revealing that some are in it for differing things.
Eternus has even gotten Nozdormu to see that maybe attempting to change things for the better might be possible, and at least looked at.
The point is, it’s now been revealed that different dragons have different reasons for the things they do, where some might be evil and wanting to sow chaos, while others are trying to change things for the better but going about it the wrong way.

Yeah, and that "better" per Murazond in End Time, was a world where everything - even the bacteria - was dead. Because what would happen without their interference would somehow be worse.

Well, if you were playing Horde, you were already the bad guy/villain in MoP Classic.

So pretty much nothing has changed.

Are you sure that it's forgetfulness?
