I want a Plunderstorm with WoW Classes

No leveling, no gearing, no stats, no farming, nothing, just login, PvP, logout, like any other PvP ONLY game.

Maybe add spell modifiers like the ones in MoP Remix in the same way as Plunderstorm abilities that you can get from mobs and treasures.

Anyone else want the same, since there is no other game that offer World Of Warcraft gameplay ?

I feel the only problem with this is Tanks and Rogues would have a bit of an unfair advantage with this

Tanks just wont die and Rogues can just stealth and wait it out. Then we got druids who can stealth AND tank. This would literally just devolve into a Druid/Rogue/Tank fest

Why can't you do this with regular pvp? You can farm a full set of honor gear in a matter of hours

Remaking WoW PvP into a simple character select game (like Overwatch, or Dota2), would be the single best thing that could happen to it.

As of now, rerolling a character AND keeping all 13 characters up-to-date is an extremely hard effort, something that no other PvP game has, and WoW PvP suffers because of that.

If we got a simple plug-and-play system for WoW PvP, it would be actually fun.
But you know, the vast majority of WoW players aren't skilled enough to actually succeed and therefore enjoy PvP, so it would be completely wasted time and resources.

Plunderstorm had a second advantage over regular WoW PvP and that's simplicity. Much easier to learn what 10 abilites do, rather than what 13(classes)*3(specs)*20(abilities) do.

I made a thread last year with this idea maybe not REMAKE wow pvp into that but make a side game outside of wow but still connected that is essentially Battlegrounds/Arena
Make it so like you have the option to choose some of the heroes as your playable character or if you actually do play wow enable you to actually put your character in there, gear is normalized you can spec how you want and have a PVP game where the MMO part isn't a factor make little microtransactions for skins and whatnot maybe even award a mount if you get certain ranks in a season and there you go

I don't think we should remove the MMO Portion of wow pvp but a side game where its wow pvp without grinding to play at a decent level can be a thing.

It's more PVP in wow does have a fanbase who enjoys that kind of playstyle and there's people who want to do the PVP but don't really want to do the work to getting good enough to actually do the PVP.

The whole heroes thing is more a way to sell skins and whatnot if you're a Rogue in this hypothetical game being Edwin VanCleef in a cowboy hat, your actual Vulperia Rogue, or Wrathion isn't going to change how you play the damned game

probably the only other thing this could do is offer a different balancing path so BG players aren't affected by changes meant for the PVE players

That's what I said, a character select like Dota2 (or HotS, it's the same system).

Yes, altho Dota2 or HotS only have about 4-6 abilities per character, WoW has about 20-40 abilities per character, as is much more complex and also fast paced.

Only the DPS specs then (doesn't mean there aren't any healing spells). Healing or Tank specs would give an advantage to certain classes or class combinations. And each class should have some sort of stripped version of their retail counterpart to match the gameplay for plunderstorm.

Standalone WoW PvP game with far less bloat and less clutter. Kind of something like wrath-wod era WoW was and I take it.

The button bloat would need to be truncated, redundant abilities removed, and cooldowns extended, so you are not putting up with the unenjoyable retail WoW rotational gameplay of looking down at your hotbars, your eyes darting back and forth between your resoruces and your abilities and mentally juggling ("I need to press this ability which does 103 damage, and then this ability which does 101 damage, and then...". I really liked Plunderstorm's combat, where you didn't have a rotation and instead just used abilities as you need them. To deal damage you just swung your sword over and over, and maybe tossed out the shield and that was it. You pressed another button to go into stealth to sneak up or escape, and another button to transform into a soulshape and flee. Etc.

As nice as it is for the honor grind to be so short, it is still very much inferior to conquest and tier gear, which is a problem as the season drags on and people get more of it. And there are still other dumb issues to deal with, like factions and roles affecting queues and so on. But a battle royale would never work with normal classes, so I would rather just have all battlegrounds and arenas be on a tournament realm, with all gear and enchants and whatnot freely available, and of course with no faction barrier like blitz.
