Wonder if the first Mythic season is going to follow Dragonflight's half new half rehashed lineup
3 days is a lot of time for sure, committed people will be max level within half a day of that at most if not quite a lot quicker. Blizzard said there would be a lot of restrictions on how much content can be completed at max level at that point but for sure there will be quite an advantage.
I would prefer they ignore the dumbass community and do what they want and think is best. Yall make memes out of the dumbest things, look no further than that new monster hunter wilds girl for proof. Her origin story is pretty great imo too. A trapped void entity (old god?) that we oopsie set free in our attempt to stop the legion, now that is proving to bite us in the ass some years later.

This website on the DAILY proves you wrong lmao. And blizz has been retconning their story literally since TBC so not sure why that seems to bother you now for some reason. If she proved to be the missing 5th old god that would be cool as hell obviously. Retconning a retcon XD
Retcons just mean the current shit won't pass the smell test without saying "but what we meant was..."
1. We kill Azeroth and jump on Valens ship. He gathers 1 set of each mamal(with every biological combination of body types).
2. We colonize another planet.
3. 10.000 year later - enter the world of World of STARCRAFT.

It really depends on 1 thing:
Does it attract more people if they launch WoW2? Probably not.
Would it be nicer overall? Probably not - boomers will find it lacking idenity and charme.
They must have a different product ready thou. You can call it Plunderstorm or some WoW MOBA game. OR .... World of STARCRAFT!

And who told us that? The titans themselves. True, when they arrived there were 4… but the Black Empire was around for a long, long time. We don’t know what happened during that time. The Old Gods weren’t friends, they were fighting each other until the Titans arrived. So who knows if there were more Old Gods that got consumed thousands of years before the Titans arrived? There’d be no record of them because the others would have erased their existence over that time period
You're definitely getting to max level in that short amount of time. Most people in my guild reach level cap in little over a day. But there is also the experience of a new expansion that will be lost. The excitement of waiting for servers to open, for the servers to eventually crash (ok that's not good), the looking at the zones and commenting on the them in guild or general chat. By the time I get there it will not be anything new for half the server. Half the guild will be doing something that is way ahead of you. It's not pay to win in the real sense of the word, and I admit I may have exaggerated. But it's almost worse because it's not about killing anything or getting that gear. It is that the most exciting thing there is wow these days is expansion launch and that is now moved up a couple of days for the idiots that are feeding this nonsense habit that companies now have of creating "special editions" for ridiculous ammouts to pay for a game.

they're not going to wait for wow to fail to move on. They will plan ahead.

As stated above, it's about the new expansion experience, not about winning any race.
I'm also against early access for money, but what is this argument? This race doesn't really exist anymore.
Also pretty much every race is won by someone who payed, since you can spend WoW gold to gain battle net credit. Echo spending 200 Million or more gold is also pretty much pay to win, even if they are incredibly good players. Add to that the cost of Weakaura devs, coordination, etc...
You don't get to insult people here and then support you argument with the most stupid reasons I've seen in regard to this discussion. Race to max level, really. What a joke.
Guys look at it like this, the fools who paid for early access are going to suffer the OBVIOUS server issues that we all know are coming at launch, so that when the rest of us join things will be stable and nice.
One: there is no "race to max level".
Second: congratz, you got a meaningless achievement that gives you no real reward aside from increasing your achievement points by 10. The exact same achievement that everyone gets when they reach max level, regardless if they do it on expansion launch, or in the last few days before the next expansion's pre-patch.
You just got it three days earlier than them. Whoop-dee-fucking-doo.

That's a good reason for early access: less of a heavy load in the starting zones meaning less lag for the players at the start of the game.
A lot of stuff will still be new for everyone. I mean, when I watch a new movie or a show's new episode I like, I'm still excitedly talking about it with my friends, both online and around me. Also, I'm willing to bed that less than half of the game's playerbase bought the epic edition.the looking at the zones and commenting on the them in guild or general chat. By the time I get there it will not be anything new for half the server.
Your first experience in a zone is not devalued by someone getting there before you do, especially since there'll still be a lot of players around you while you level up. I mean, what's the difference if someone in your guild clears a zone five hours or two days before you do?But it's almost worse because it's not about killing anything or getting that gear. It is that the most exciting thing there is wow these days is expansion launch and that is now moved up a couple of days for the idiots that are feeding this nonsense habit that companies now have of creating "special editions" for ridiculous ammouts to pay for a game.

I certainly hope so, it really kept each season fresh
They said nothing with a lockout would be available, so the best you'll be able to do is get to max level and do normal, maybe heroic dungeons. No professions, no rares, no world events, no real content except dungeons, not even WQs. By the end of the first day of the normal launch, that advantage will be nothing.

No it isn't. YOu literally can only level to 80. No endgame content will be available and the season doesn't begin until one week after actual launch. There is no advantage and everyone will be at the same place when the actual season starts.

It is not. They aren't porting a 20 year old game to a console.
