every day I am blessed that they removed exploding and sanguine.

easily the two worst affixes they created.

Switch between seasons and you see the rating drop for 1%.

90% is 2500 rating which correlates with timed 10s (this is where most people stop). So that's 90% of the characters who do mythic+, which is FAR from the same as all wow players for two reasons: one is that a lot of people don't even play M+ and two is that Rio tracks characters in those graphs, not accounts, so the people who play multiple characters in high rating even skew that data a bit more.

99% of wow playerbase does not do keys above 10 is a pretty good guesstimate based on the data we have, it's going to be maybe 1 or 2% lower, then the point still stands; The overwhelming majority of the playerbase doesn't do that kind of content, so the very little group who does is not worth catering to.

We are literally just guessing, for all I care it's the lower rio players who would have more alts participating as they don't invest much time in pushing.

Whole discussion is useless now since we have new set of affixes and I think it's handled very well for all parties and blizz clearly addressed issues for people who like affixes and pushers who hate dead weeks.

We aren't guessing though, maybe partly in how many characters each top mmr player plays. But the data we have shows clearly that the people doing very high keys (e.g. 11 and higher) is a very small minority of the playerbase.
I do agree that the new affixes look a lot better than the old ones.

I despise tyrannical and fortified. Any other affix is fine.

i think they are too many tbh
yes i see '3' as too many, maybe i'm wrong, but the fact that both mobs get more dmg, health, then add to it random affix is imo a lot
keep affix but make scaling too minor, remove affix and keep scale (or even buff it a little), or maybe in-between solution
but as of right now, i feel it is too much, it scales way too fast, only helps those who are already geared, but most of us may not even be subbed 1st week of a patch, by time u sub and get free time mid-season, u feel like u are getting fucked with a pointy mace without lube, yeah by end of season gear makes it easier
but Affix shouldn't be trivial after u get gear and brutal before, it should be easy (not trivial) and hard before, the affix wall is really high, gear reduce it, but for me at least when i get high gear (no need to max every slot, just good enough) on my main i like to swap to an alt, in DF i usually just get gear, and done, don't want to repeat that brutal scenario
it also makes the idea of having multi-alts useless since most of them have shit gear, playing with rl friends and don't want to heal today want to dps? fuck u stick to heal since that's the only spec that can do m15

11 is high? I find problem start at 15 (or 16), when the 3 affix of season gang up on u
    prior to that still manageable
The beginning of wisdom is the statement 'I do not know.' The person who cannot make that statement is one who will never learn anything. And I have prided myself on my ability to learn

I don't think you've been playing much lately.

I think the reason for affixes is valid but I find that I dislike affixes more often than like them.
