    Explain Ensembles to Me

So I've never really gotten into or worried about xmogs, but I've completed buying all the toys and mounts on remix so figured I might as well start going for the various xmogs. I was trying to figure out which ensembles I fully owned from leveling/farming bronze, but it's not making a whole lot of sense. For example, I logon to my Paladin and it says I have fully collected the White Tiger Battlegear, usable by Warriors, Paladins, and DKs. Then I switch to my Warrior and it says I have NOT collected the White Tiger Battlegear, but I have collected the Battleplate of Resounding Rings.

If I go into the collection pane and search for sets, the Battleplate of Resounding Rings doesn't even show up for my Paladin, either as collected or uncollected. And same for the White Tiger Battlegear on my Warrior.

So are the ensembles actually class specific, even though they say they are usable for all plate classes?

Get "all the things" it is an add-on amazing for collectors, it will literally just show you everything and anything you are missing from a vendor, any currency or item will show on its tooltip what it can be used for and how many you need total.
It's a bit of a ram hog so turn it off when you go to raid/PvP/m+ but it's so useful for all other times. Just set it up to your preference. (Show all things, or only things your current charecter can use)

But for ease, any ensembles sold by the vendor means you are missing atleast 1 item in the set. Once you purchase them, they will disappear.

The collections pane will only show you tier sets for the class you're currently on.

Example: If you use an ensemble that gives you a paladin set in MoP:Remix, the set will then be usable by your other plate characters by transmogging the pieces individually, but the full set will still not be listed on a warrior or DK.

But my understanding is that if you've bought an ensemble and used it on Remix, that ensemble will be gone on the vendor for all other characters.

If an ensemble is available on the vendor, you're still missing pieces from the set that use the appearance of the set. But it might be a duplicate of an appearance you already have unlocked.

One major difference between the gear/ensembles on Remix and the gear on retail is that some of the items with certain appearances may only be available to the class that the set originally belongs to on retail, while the Remix pieces are available to be transmogged by all classes (of that same armor type, in the case of class tiet sets)

The class ensembles are bugged like that.
Bought warrior set on a warrior then figured out i could buy every class on my main timerunner and it shows the warrior set unbought.

But on my normal main who is a warrior i have the mogs.

The ensembles are usable by all classes. The original tier sets they replicate are not.

So if you have collected White Tiger set by looting the stuff on regular MoP on a Paladin, the game will say you have fully learned the ensemble on a paladin because the paladin can mog the whole set, but other classes will not be able to tmog into it. If you learn it by looting the items in Remix or using the ensemble, all plate classes can use the mog.
