What about shadowlands renown?
Take a break from politics once in awhile, it's good for you.
3 Major Rules of World of Warcraft Players:
1. No one on earth wants to play World of Warcraft less than other World of Warcraft players.
2. The desire to win>The desire for anything else in World of Warcraft. NO EXCEPTIONS
3. Efficiency will be king no matter how you think it will improve the game.
You get max Covenant Renown by just doing the Covenant storyline which you only need to do once on one character to be able to buy all of the rewards (with anima), which are account wide. The limiting factor is the anima grind needed to buy the hearthstones, mounts, transmogs, etc. The only thing that isn't account wide are the Night Fae soulshapes, so if you create a new character and want to be able to transform into a tiger then you have to go get that soulshape again.
EDIT: forgot that visually completing the zones by building all of the anima conductors is not account wide.
They'll be working backwards from DF, but specified that Covenant renowns are unlikely. Since there are 500g tokens that set your rep above the point where you can get nearly every reward which can be purchased on any character once you've raised a single renown to 80, it's kind of a non-issue anyhow.
I'd imagine it's a technical issue with how they were implemented to only have one rep "active" at a time, how they might interact with a character who has never joined a Covenant, and the whole "renown track automatically drops items in your inventory" mechanic meaning new characters would immediately have like 30 items dropped on them. It'd probably require some retooling to make it work "normal" but a case of being a fair amount of work for something that can already be circumvented pretty easily.
confirmed by my uncle nitnendo and masahiro samurai
DF yes. SL no. BFA, Legion and earlier yes to a point. There will be some exceptions like the Aldor and Scryer factions (Burning Crusade era) which are exclusive to each other for example.
...Ok, time to change the ol' Sig ^_^
This time I'll leave you the Links to 3 of my Wordpress Blogs: 1. Serene Adventure 2. Video Games 3. Anime Please subscribe if you like what you see. As a Bonus, I'll throw in my You Tube channel =D
Winterpelt Furbolg is not being shared. I have a character at exalted and none
of my alts even had the faction listed. Afaik you still have to do the quests. When
you finish the quests at revered and you start farming drops it may change.
Edit-Confirmation
1) You must do the first 3 sets of quests that get you to neutral, irrespective of the progress of other alts.
2) Turn-ins (Academic Aquisitions et al) are only credited to the character doing the turn in.
