    Higher FPS with DX11 than DX12 normal?

    Im literally getting double more fps with dx11 for some reason with 7800x3d and 7900gre.That doesnt make sense to me

    No, thats not really normal, sounds more like a bad optimization for dx12.

    I used to get about 40-50 more fps with dx 12 before the patch. But after patch, i get about the same. I think it has somehting to do with the new settings we got in pre-patch

    Just tested get 90fps with dx12 , got 120 with dx11 in the exact same position

    DX12 with WoW has all kinds of problems, but I find that the game in general has pretty bad optimization issues regardless of which one you use. I use DX12 in Retail, but I remember I had to disable it when playing Classic because it was causing hang-ups and other issues.

    It's standard problem. They say you'd get 2x performance on Vista vs XP, but you get 10% less. They say, you'd get 2x performance on D3D10 vs D3D9, but you get 10% less + freezes. Then they say, you'd get 2x performance on D3D12 vs D3D11.
    FOMO, gating, RNG, grind, overtuning, competition - endgame.
    Solo MMO: no more humiliating queues and toxic competing.
    Aggro and combat: game would only be better without obsoleted mechanics.
    DF in a nutshell: GW2 copy-paste with AFK events and nothing to do.

    Who is this made up "they"? Are they in the room right now?

    DX12 is about feature set anyways, its not some amazing performance boost it just has modern settings and features that DX11 doesn't. Also if you're using any of the settings in DX12 that don't work in DX11, it's a meaningless comparison.
