How to transfer currency you currently do not have

Hey,

perhaps I'm an idiot, but how exactly do you transfer a currency you currently don't possess? Since it's not shown in the currency tab, there is no transfer button.

My issue currently is that I pulled all my memory currency from the pre patch event from my 60 chars to a single char, so that I could easily buy all items and missing transmogs. So now I have around 100k remaining, and want to buy gear for my chars that are still missing some.

So obviously I go with the char that is missing some to the trader so I can directly buy them there. But I have no way of pulling memories from the char that is holding them, as the currency no longer is listed in the currency tab.

Obviously I can now log to my char that has the currency, and buy the things there, and mail them then. But that isvery cumbersome, as you have to switch to show all classes, remember the items you want to buy, and confirm evey single item you put in the mail, and there is not mailbox near the trader in dalaran and doing that for 40+ chars takes longer than the 5 minutes your toy mailbox would last.
Or I could go through the portal, kill a single mob to get a single memory, and then I can start the transfer process. But that's also quite annoying.

Is there a macro where you can start transferring a certain currency?


And as a sidenote, there is also another very annoying thing about the warbound items:
If you buy them, you cannot put them on your warband bank because they are not bound yet. But you cannot simply right click them to bind them, because then they get bound to the char that bound them. So there is no way to accellerate the 2h binding time wait.
I even tried mailing to another char, which is annoying as you need to confirm every item. But when you take it out with your other toon, it no longer has the redeem text and selling them just gives gold, but you still cannot put them in your warbound bank as it somehow still counts as redeemable.

I don't know, but the easiest fix would literallyu just be on the char you want to buy something on, go to the prepatch zones, and kill literally just 1 mob and you will get the currency.

You cant put them in the bank not because they are not bound yet, but because you can still refund them. So you have to wait for the refund time or mail them.
its annoying, really should add a "putting it in the bank wqill make it non refundable, are you sure?" button.

You cant. You need to remember to always keep 1 of every currency on the alts. It's really stupid, because let's say for example with the TWW prepatch, that currency isnt coming back, then you wouldnt be able to pick it up again and your currency would be locked out.

It's either a bug or they just didnt think it through.

It may not be gone. We thought the last prepatch currency would go but it didn't.

To transfer a currency you don’t currently have, you could use a workaround like killing a single mob to get that currency on the target character, allowing you to initiate the transfer process. Unfortunately, there isn't a direct macro for transferring currencies across characters if you don't already possess that currency. For your issue with warbound items, the best solution seems to be mailing them to your alt characters to get them bound, though it's tedious. As for the warband bank, you’ll need to wait out the 2-hour binding time, as there isn’t a faster way to deposit these items.
