In Warcraft 3, the Nerubians are shown to have spider-faces, with two large mandibles, multiple black eyes and no human features.

In WotLK, we see them again and the looks got carried over, spiders that have a torso and two arms with 2 large fingers. We also see viziers that are casters but these too, look alien with no human-like features as you can see here: https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Nerubian

This remained consistent for all the Nerubians until now, where we're introduced to Nerubians that are clearly of the vizier type but have very human-like faces, a very abrupt departure from their original forms.

What's more is that they essentially take in the void and instead of becoming more monstrous, they gain noses and even more human features. Which completely changes their race, essentially.

This all seems to be because the 'writers' needed them to look more human as it's easier to animate and to immerse one-self into an expressive human, rather than a weird spider. So they have now turned the alien, hive-like Nerubians into what appears to be just another bland hereditary kingdom, complete with poverty and beggars which in my opinion ruins them and makes them uninteresting. Just more bland soup.

The point is, it is a valid question why we first got two human-like Nerubians and then just departed from that entirely to give us a even far blander race.
If nobody has their immersion ruined by abrupt and illogical choices like this, then I must be nobody. Maybe the fault is mine for expecting some respect for consistency.

Small spiders never cause trauma other than learned experiences from watching people on top of ignorance of the creature itself.

Most phobias are easily remedied with education. That's just a fact. People always fear what they don't know or understand, that's why we have religion now.
This is why people don't take mental health issues seriously, because of "logic" like this.

You're attributing malice on behalf of the developers when the more likely explanation is far more innocuous. They simply don't want to turn off a portion of their audience to the main characters of this expansion's story. You can say that this "shits on lore" or something if that suits you but -- again, I cannot stress this enough -- that just makes you the kind of person that needs to understand that WoW's story is moving on without you.

Not only is this hilariously untrue, how would it work for something like... Coulrophobia?

I think you are a terrible person for being so often derogative of others and their thoughts. Practically every other comment I see of yours is in some way dismissive or insinuative that somebody is somehow a worthless person who isn't allowed their opinion or shouldn't be allowed fair criticism of the choices made for the game.

But don't worry, I am not interested in WoW anymore. I thought for a moment we might see a return to form, but TWW is just more Shadowlands/DF.

Here, let me Google that for you.

No its not, in a vacuum this trailer is actually totally fine, well made and somewhat dramatic. Its actually good.

But as someone who is terminally online, it continues a trend of the game becoming more feelings and less rargle blarg.

You honestly think that can't be remedied?

Psychologists have successfully helped people through phobias due to the fact most phobias are absolutely unfounded. Especially clowns.

It is "irrational"... which y'all keep forgetting and ignoring.

I mean... psychologists and psychiatrists exist because of my logic, lol.

They aide the irrational by way of guidance and assistance.
