Normals are still pretty easy even without a guild, anything that isn't a PuG can do it no problem. And that's just so you don't need to deal with constant drop-outs and ragequits on wipes. Good pugs don't have much trouble, but most pugs suck.

Saying heroics are puggable is technically true, particularly a patch or two later when you outgear them, but you'll go through a lot of pain and suffering.
