This Week's Extended Maintenance - August 19
Blizzard has announced an extended maintenance for The War Within in North America, lasting approximately 4 hours from 7:00 AM PDT until 11:00 AM PDT. European realms will have the usual 1-hour maintenance on Wednesday, from 3:00 AM CEST until 4:00 AM CEST.

Items Missing from Guild Bank
Blizzard has acknowledged a recent bug where items may be missing from the Guild Bank. Additionally, some characters are currently unable to withdraw any gold from the Guild Bank, even if they are the Guild Master. To fix the gold issue, /r/woweconomy suggested depositing 1 gold and then withdrawing an amount of gold lower than the amount in bags.

We have received several reports of this issue and can confirm it is not working as intended. Currently, we do not have a workaround or resolution that can be provided. We apologize for any inconvenience while our developers work as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.

I have 4 Alt Guild Banks. Nothing was missing when the switch was flipped BUT I was not able to freely withdraw Gold until a few days ago.

There is a workaround to that though it's pretty annoying AF:

1. Deposit 1G.
2. Withdraw Gold up to equal what you have.
3. Repeat as needed.

Of course, this is not possible for your newly created Allied Race alt who comes with 1G. In that case you'll need to mail some gold to the alt to do the above steps.

I lost all items in guild bank, not much value, but Blizzard looks like unprofessional company. GM answer was almost insulting.

My guild bank got hit, too. I put in a ticket, it took several days to get a response, and what I got was pretty general and didn't explain anything. I pressed for details, and they answered back within a day then closed the ticket as resolved. The only explanation I got was that they believe the items are actually still in the bank, but they are "not visible and not accessible." The support team is unable to do anything to fix it, and they have referred the issue to be addressed directly by the game development team. No ETA on if or when it might be fixed.
