September Trading Post items related to Nightsquall?

Hi!

At the end of Dragonflight there was some speculation about the next expansion (The War Within, although unknown at that time) could be a "pirate expansion", or at least, have some piratey elements to it. This was due to the Return of the Nightsquall book found in the forbidden reach wowpedia.fandom. com/wiki/Return_of_the_Nightsquall that mentioned that the pirate night elf had returned. Do you guys think the current September items in the Trading post (which most of them are pirate-theme items) are related to this? Will we get a patch about it maybe? I haven't leveled up yet to lvl 80 so I really do not know if there's a connection here.

The September items are just recolors of the Plunderstorm cosmetics.

It's literally all recolours of Plunderstorm stuff.

Actually it was the other way around. They admitted they made Plunderstorm due to player theories around pirates after they found the Nightsquall book in game.

It seems they do not plan to use this character any time soon, but who knows. They might include him at some point, given the attention his character got.
