Bit confused about WQs and weeklies this...week

So what am I missing here or am I not missing anything?

Last week, I could chose (on my levelling main and my lv 70 alts) to do any of 4 activities from Faerin (Snuffling, 6 WQs, Awaken machine..and..sth else)

This week, I only have the "100 titan fragments" on my main. The Theatre Troupe offres no quest and there seem to be very few WQs active...like...2 skyriding, maybe 1 pet battle and like 2 normal ones.

I can however accept the "Awaken the machine", the "10 globs of wax" and the "pact" in Azj-Kahet. Hollowfall activities to light the fires are also there.

Any idea or is this just as it is?

As far as I know, this week is different because there is a story beat to move the narrative along. You have to be level 80 to receive the weekly. You may need to have done the story once on a character, but I haven't confirmed that.

Thanks - I did the main story on my lv 80 - neither she, nor my alts get a weekly from Farin. And yeah..The theatre troupe doesn't even give a reward when I do it..except the little chests at 2000 / 4000 / 6000.

So at least the missing weekly seems to be tied to the fact that "there is a story beat to move the narrative along" (100 titan parts)

I'm not sure about the Theater Troupe issue, I had a theater troupe quest on my main this week.

With regards to the "Choose an activity" weekly quest, you are correct, the weekly quest this week is the 100 titan disk fragments quest, not a Choose an Activity.

No, you need to be 80.

No you don’t, I have many level 70s with the quest, they grab it on their way to fly down to kill the Lurker for his sweet sweet mole mount.

I'm not sure about the Theater Troupe issue, I had a theater troupe quest on my main this week.

With regards to the "Choose an activity" weekly quest, you are correct, the weekly quest this week is the 100 titan disk fragments quest, not a Choose an Activity.

Ok, good thing I am an altoholic - my 3 chars who got a "chose an activity" weekly last week don't get one this week. My 2 alts who came in fresh to Kaz Algar CAN chose an activity (I usually pick the 6 WQs). They also get to clean up the theatre area and then get a follow up to complete atheatre troupe event.

Did you do the quest for the theatre were you have to clean it up? If you don't do that you won't get the weekly quest from the NPC for it (and you need to do it on each character).

No you don’t, I have many level 70s with the quest, they grab it on their way to fly down to kill the Lurker for his sweet sweet mole mount.

None of my alts get the current weekly before 80, and I don't know how this would even work to get it on the fly since to start the 100 disc part of the quest you need to talk to Brinthe in the archive first.

Yeah, like I said in post 7 - when a fresh alt comes to Khaz Algar, they can do the clean up and do the follow up for the Theatre. They also get the "chose an activity".

My lv 74 and 71 alts who did that last week, get nothing.

..and funnily..after my main DIDN'T get the Threatre Troup weekly offered on wednesday, thursday and friday, it was there on saturday.

and because there's so few wq up at any one time, a lot of people seem to be doing the same one, making killing mobs and such, interesting....

Yeah, it is like that. For some reason. Is that weekly just a one time thing? Main got first week, nothing now. Alt got to 80 this week, got the 4 choose-what-you-want weekly.
