Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

I've noticed this as well. My guess is they've been naughty in Private Messages, either towards mods or other users, which triggered an infraction and got them over the ban threshold.

We do not discuss moderation on the public forums in the first place, and secondly, we do not discuss infractions of third parties with unrelated people. The moderation is between the moderation staff and that particular user and they have their own ways of getting account actions addressed. That is not for the rest of you.
Closing this here as it is breaking the rules and at best is an avenue for people to express their opinions about moderation, which, if that is what you want, contact a blue (global) moderator through private message.
