Vambraces of Deepening Darkness

I'm mostly going to play five mans as in m+ and am thinking about different items to use spark on.

I know most guides / people say to build your weapon first but those bracers sound so nice and I was wondering what others think about them? Am currently using the Rookery staff upgraded to 590 so a weapon wouldnt do that much right now before crests.
